• CFACC-ACAA Letter of Agreement; Civil-Military Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding; ICAO contingency plan

If not then…

• Military contingency planning for no contract continues

• 15 Nov 2014 - NOTAM for uncontrolled airspace not released

Contract is not signed

• President of requested 9 month extension for long term airspace contract

• ISAF and U. S. military were outside the funding authorities to extend the current airspace contract

• U. S. department of State has allocated necessary funds for a one time extension and U. S. Congress has granted transfer of funds to DoD

• Negotiations with current contractor on how long funds will last

• Duration of contract not known yet: Might only be 6 to 9 months

• Military will maintain civil and military airspace control authority

• Time is short

• GIRoA approach technically capable, international experienced providers for airspace contract • ACAA meeting with the President of Afghanistan soon • President of Afghanistan will decide on options and how to do training • Same company or other solutions • ISAF assess 200 million US dollar as a fair price looking at the current costs • Ministry of Finance approved $25Mil for ACAA budget in 2015 • Possible extension of bridge contract
