[email protected] FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Weinberg’s Upcoming Season to Include Country Icon Craig Morgan FREDERICK, Md., Wednesday, July 5, 2017 — In advance of its complete 2017-2018 season announcement, the Weinberg Center for the Arts revealed today that country music icon Craig Morgan will bring his American Stories Tour to the venue on September 30. Best known for hits like “Bonfire,” “When I’m Gone,” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” Morgan will take the stage with patriotic songs and personal stories celebrating American values and the true meaning of home. The performance will begin at 7:00pm and will also feature Mac Powell and Aly Beaird. Tickets begin at $30 and are now on sale to Weinberg Center members. Tickets will become available to the general public on Friday, July 14 at 10am. A multi-faceted entertainer, Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV host, celebrated outdoorsman, and Army veteran. His newest album, “A Whole Lot More To Me,” was released in June 2016 featuring singles “I’ll Be Home Soon” and “When I’m Gone.” Morgan received one of country music’s highest honors in 2008, when he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
