Last time the Conference was held in Prague was in 2008, now, 11 years later we are back in Prague. The Scientific Programme is well prepared and there will be several Workshops, Educational Sessions and Poster sessions. New this year are the Courses which will be interactive sessions allowing everybody to share their expertise. We are, as an Association, in the forefront of Online Communication and it has been a focus for some years and will continue to be one of our focuses for the coming years. Take the opportunity to download the Conference App. It works both for iPhones and Androids. We should never forget that face to face meetings gives us so much more than just to be in a Video call. It has an important role of educating, exchanging information and experience, utilizing the expertise of all of us i.e. health care professionals, service leaders, academics, researchers, care givers, people with renal disease and industry partners. Take this opportunity being at the Conference, to share experience with other delegates from around the world focusing on Chronic Kidney Disease. WELCOME! CONFERENCE ACCREDITATION Accreditation of Learning Hours The 48th EDTNA/ERCA International Conference in Prague is accredited. To ensure maximum quality in education and a professional Scientific Programme, EDTNA/ERCA has been granted International Continuing Nursing Education Credits (ICNEC) for the International Conference in Prague. The ICNEC are granted by the International Council of Nurses once strict admission conditions are fulfilled. Participants of the conference will be awarded a maximum of 18 ICNECs. 1 credit is assigned for each 60minutes pent within the session halls, this is flexible and allows delegates to change between sessions and continue to accumulate credited time. Please, note that not all sessions and workshops are accredited by ICN. This Form is available at the Registration desk during the Conference and it is to be completed (address and email) and signed by the delegate and should be returned to the Registration staff. A Certificate detailing the number of credits achieved will be provided after the Conference by ICN. A Certificate of Attendance will be provided by the Registration desk on the final day of the Conference as usual, or you can apply via email at [email protected] until November 30th, 2019. 6 THE CONFERENCE APPLICATION – INSTRUCTIONS & LOGISTICS With the EDTNA/ERCA 2019 Conference App, you will have the opportunity to increase your interactivity and have the entire conference “in your hand”. BEST E-POSTER AND BEST SPEAKER VOTED BY THE DELEGATES! Last year we have successfully implemented the Best E-Poster Award voted by the Delegates. This year we have implemented a new award – Best Speaker Award! The rating will be done by You – our Conference Delegate and it is up to you whom to give the Award to. It is available for all Conference participants via the Conference Application. Use the star rating to vote for the best E-Poster or for the best speaker. Both awards according to the conference delegates evaluation will be presented during the Closing Ceremony.
