Circle K Sunkus has been developing products and services aiming to become a “convenience store considerate of the elderly”. Convenience for customers, both through actual stores and through Internet sales, has been improved through the broadening of available lines of products intended for the elderly. This is made possible through the utilization of our product innovation capabilities when it comes to products intended for the elderly, based on know-how gained in this sector. Toyota Tsusho considers people at an age of 60 and over to be a generation of productive people entering the period of harvesting in their lives and defines them as people in their “harvest age”. The business of renting and selling nursing care products, intended particularly for those who require nursing care among the elderly, was implemented based on the know-how derived from the development and sale of products intended for customers of the harvest age group. Toyota Tsusho will proactively provide products and services with added value, which would serve as the “seasoning of the flavor of the pot we know as life” to customers of even wider age groups, through a synergy with Circle K Sunkus, which has a vast network of stores, as well as by making use of Internet sales. Circle K Sunkus and Toyota Tsusho will be gradually expanding their product lines with the keywords of “interest and preferences”, as well as “health and lifestyle assistance” to offer assistance in achieving quality time and comfortable living environments to the people of the harvest age. ◆ OMISE de TSUHAN: Products for Harvest Age Customers 6 product catalogs are planned to be launched this year, featuring a total of 300 items, comprised of nursing care products and products intended to meet the needs of people in the harvest age.
