The Sound Tigers will try to build on a 2-1 win against the Wilkes- 14-5-2-1 Home 12-9-2-0 Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday, in which Jeff Kubiak and Scott Eansor (GWG) each scored in the 11-12-2-1 Away 7-14-1-2 first period and Jeremy Smith (14-8-2) made 25 saves during his fifth straight appearance. Ben Holmstrom also contributed with two assists as the Sound Tigers regained second place in the Atlantic. Bridgeport is 17.5% (21) PP 18.1% (17) one point ahead of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Providence Bruins, and just four points ahead of the 80.8% (19) PK 80.6% (20) fifth-place Springfield Thunderbirds. 14.65 (5) PIM (Avg) 13.00 (14) TIGERS VS. Each team has won four of the first eight tilts, but Bridgeport has points in six of the eight following a pair of overtime losses in November.
