His two power-play goals are tied for the team lead with Barron and sophomore Cornell BU forward Max Andreev (2-6–8), who all play on the same power-play unit. Team Offense 4.50 3.07 • Scoring depth has powered the Big Red in the early going. Eight forwards National Rank 3rd T-20th Conf. Offense 4.50 2.90 already have multiple goals for Cornell through eight games compared to Conf. Rank 2nd 5th 12 for all of last season. Team Defense 1.50 3.07 More Than Just Defense: National Rank 2nd 38th Conf. Defense 1.33 2.80 • Junior defenseman Alex Green (3-6–9, plus-8) enters Saturday’s game on a Conf. Rank 1st 8th season-high scoring streak of six games, having already more than doubled his point production from an injury-riddled sophomore campaign. Power Play Pct. 33.3 21.4 • Sam Malinski (2-7–9, plus-8) leads the nation in scoring for freshman National Rank 2nd T-18th Conf. PP Pct. 31.8 20.5 defenseman with an average of 1.12 points per game.
