Last Sunday, the Sound Tigers defeated the Wolf Pack in their 1-1-0-0 Home 2-2-0-0 first meeting of the season with a 6-3 decision at Webster Bank Arena. Michael Dal Colle, Tanner Fritz and Mitch Vande Sompel each scored once and added an assist, while Scott Eansor continued his hot 1-3-0-0 Away 1-1-0-1 start with his team-leading seventh goal of the year, and second on the power play. Between the pipes, 14.8% (17) PP 23.3% (4) Kristers Gudlevskis made 22 saves on 25 shots and helped Bridgeport snap a three-game losing streak. 76.7% (29) PK 88.6% (T6) TIGERS VS. The rookie forward has seven goals in his first six pro games, which is tied for the league lead with Daniel Sprong (Wilkes-Barre/Scranton) and Danick Martel (Lehigh Val- Johnston PIM Selleck ley). In addition, Eansor has scored at least one goal in five of the Bridgeport’s six games and leads the 26 17 team in points (seven) and power-play goals (two). Gudlevskis Wins Nell GOING STREAKING 2 3 Veteran winger Steve Bernier scored twice last weekend and is now on a team-best five game point 2017-18 Season Series: 1-0-0-0 streak (four goals, one assist), dating back to Oct. 13 against the Charlotte Checkers. The 32-year-old is second on the team in goals, third in shots (18) and tied for third in points after earning 26 points (16 Oct. 22 HFD at BRI 6-3 W goals, 10 assists) in 33 games prior to injury last season. Dec. 23 BRI at HFD 3 p.m. Ho-Sang notched four assists in six games with the Islanders this season after recording 36 points (10g, Jan. 10 HFD at BRI 7 p.m. 26a) in 50 games with the Sound Tigers last year. Quine has been out since September with an upper-body injury after posting 18 points (5g, 13a) in 61 games with the Islanders last season.
