Sophomore netminder Ben Scrivens set a career high with 45 saves in earning his ECAC Hockey First Round • March 7-9 second career shutout with the tie against the Minutemen. For the season, Colin Greening On Campus at Higher Seed and Riley Nash are tied for the team lead with nine points apiece, both on three goals and six ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals • March 14-16 assists, while Mike Devin is third with five points on two goals and three assists. Bloom ‘77 Head Coach of Men’s Ice Hockey, is in his 13th season at Pepsi Center - Denver, Colo. the helm of the Big Red. Schafer has a 239-129-43 career record and has guided the Big Red * ECAC Hockey Game to six NCAA tournament appearances. The 12th coach in Cornell men’s hockey history, he has ~ at Blue Cross Arena (Rochester, N.Y.) won four ECAC Hockey League tournament titles, three league regular-season champion- ^ at Madison Square Garden (New York, N.Y.) ships and is a three-time ECAC Hockey League Coach of the Year. The Knights split a pair of games over Thanksgiving Friday, Dec. 14 weekend against St. Cloud State before closing out the fall semester Nebraska-Omaha 2, Union 3 (ot) with a loss at St. Lawrence. Clarkson, ranked eighth in both polls, is 10-5- Saturday, Dec. 15 0 overall and 6-2 in ECAC Hockey action. Nick Dodge and Chris D’Alvise Miami 7, Rensselaer 3 are tied for the team lead with 13 points apiece, while Matt Beca, Steve Nebraska-Omaha 4, Union 2 Zalewski and Matt Cayer are also in double figures in scoring. In goal, St. Lawrence 3, Vermont 4 (ot) David Leggio has carried the load for the Knights, posting a 2.00 goals- Sunday, Dec. 16 against average and a .924 save percentage.
