Acting Classes for Adults (2012- Present) Training adult actors in Meisner Technique through ongoing weekly classes at Artists Repertory Theatre Facilitates periodic Scene Study, Viewpoints and Composition Classes.
Portland Actors Conservatory (2013- Present) Training adult actors in Viewpoints and Meisner Technique in the 2 year accredited conservatory program. Co-Directed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time with the 2nd year students.
Portland Center Stage (2012 - 2016) Teaching Classes in Meisner, Viewpoints and Shakespeare for PCS Teen Council. Lead sections of two week summer intensive in Viewpoints and Meisner Technique for teens.
Portland Playhouse (2013 - Present) Teaching Meisner focused acting classes to the Playhouse Apprentice Company. Directed A Midsummer Nights Dream with students at Metropolitan Learning Center in Portland, OR. Directed The Comedy of Errors in collaboration with Hockinson High School in Brush Prairie, WA. Produced the plays for the Fall Festival of Shakespeare at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts.
Oregon Children’s Theatre (2005 - Present) Devised curriculum and taught a variety of acting classes for elementary, middle and high school students. Developed two week summer camp Diary of an OCT Kid, where students write and perform original play. Conceived and directed - original teen-issue play Salad Days in collaboration with five Young Professional actors. Directed a full studio productions of Antigone Now with five Young Professional actors. Lead “Teacher Training Workshops” for Teaching Artists working with students in the classroom.
Events Unlimited Portland (2004 - Present) Developed original comedy magic shows, performing at over 2,000 schools, parties, and events. Training Clown Performers in performance, comedy magic, and balloon twisting. Developed and performs a one hour Comedy Hypnosis show for grad parties, festivals and events.
Artists Repertory Theatre - Actors To Go (2004 - 2009) Established unique interactive workshops for public schools: Communication Through Chekhov in Performance. Developed a multi-cultural education piece Who Are We Really? and toured to middle schools in the region. Interim Director of Education (Summer 2007)
The Young Players (2009 - 2012) Led weekly creative dramatics classes with elementary students in SUN program. Directed large student groups in week long all day summer camps – Performances include clowning, stone soup. Presented Theatre Games in national education video through Drama Notebook.
The Haven Project / Playwrite Inc. / Sojourn Theatre Afield (1999 - 2007) Mentored at-risk youth in two week play writing intensives.
