The Fog Club Volleyball Scholarships The Fog Club Volleyball Scholarships These scholarships are intended for superior athletes who make a Fog U13 to U18 youth team and who show potential to play on a university /college team or at the national team level. The amount of the award is up to $2000.00 and as determined by the selection committee and will be applied against the successful applicant’s club season’s travel expenses for out of town tournaments within Alberta (receipts required). Successful applicant’s names will be identified to the U of A Golden Bears and Panda coaches, the Grant MacEwan Griffins, the NAIT Ooks and the Alberta provincial team coaches as well as coaches with other Alberta, Canadian and USA universities and colleges. Athletes will be encouraged to get extra training through Volleyball Canada’s Center of Excellence. Criteria: Superior volleyball ability and leadership for your age level Potential to play on a university/college team or higher Special consideration will be given to athletes who have competed at the provincial or national youth team level U16, U17, U18 apply by November 27, 2019 U13, U14, U15 apply by December 10, 2019 Early applications are encouraged.
