WEEKEND PREVIEW Friday, Nov 29th vs. MacEwan – 8 p.m. PT Saturday, Nov 30th vs. MacEwan – 7 p.m. PT THE WEEKEND STORY • This weekend is a matchup of two teams looking for their first win of the year as both sides are 0-6 to start the 2019-20 season. • Both games will be played at the Spartans former home on campus at Trinity Western University, the David. E. Enarson Gymansium. • The Spartans return home after a pair of losses on the road to unbeaten and No. 2 ranked Calgary, while MacEwan visits after losing to Thompson Rivers in both its home games last weekend. • TWU will look for Ja’Qualyn Gilbreath (Amarillo, Tex.) to carry its offence, as the fourth-year transfer is currently sixth in conference scoring (20.5 ppg). • The Spartans will need to contain Griffins rookie Luke Harold, who is currently second in conference 3-pt percentage, sitting at 57.1%. • TWU and MacEwan last played Feb. 2-3 2018, with both teams splitting games in Edmonton. • The last time TWU played a regular season game at David E.
