JPPH Malaysia dalam tahun 2019 menyaksikan pertukaran pimpinan Ketua Pengarah Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta ke-14 kepada Ketua Pengarah Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta yang baharu. Pihak Pengurusan Tertinggi Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia telah memilih saya sebagai Ketua Pengarah Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta ke-15 pada 29 Oktober 2019 yang lalu. Setinggi ucapan terima kasih dan rasa penuh tanggungjawab saya menerima amanah tersebut untuk memimpin Jabatan ini seperti mana yang dikehendaki oleh pihak Kementerian. Justeru itu, JPPH Malaysia mengambil kesempatan ini merakamkan setinggi penghargaan terima kasih kepada YBhg. Datuk Sr Haji Ahmad Zailan bin Azizuddin, mantan Ketua Pengarah Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta ke-14 yang telah bersara wajib pada 5 Oktober 2019 yang lalu. Jasa dan sumbangan beliau dalam menerajui Jabatan sepanjang menjadi Ketua Pengarah Penilaian dan Perkhidmatan Harta amat disanjung tinggi dan dihargai. Aktiviti JPPH Malaysia semakin meluas dan mendapat perhatian daripada pelbagai pihak yang memerlukan perkhidmatan daripada Jabatan. Salah satu aktiviti penilaian adalah berkaitan Loji, Jentera dan Peralatan yang semakin diperlukan ketika ini. JPPH Malaysia telah mendapat persetujuan untuk menilai Aset Milik Perbadanan Aset Keretapi (RAC) mengikut zon yang telah ditetapkan dan aktiviti penilaian sedang giat dilaksanakan. Selain daripada itu, permintaan data maklumat harta tanah yang dimiliki oleh NAPIC turut menjadi rujukan pihak media dan penganalisis harta tanah di negara ini. Edisi kali ini turut dipaparkan mengenai perkembangan dan pembangunan Sistem Informasi Penilaian Baharu atau New Valuation Informasi System (NVIS) yang akan digunakan dalam semua kerja penilaian di Jabatan. Melalui NVIS ini penggunaan data geospatial yang lebih tepat akan memudahkan nilaian kepada lot-lot tanah yang terdapat dalam varian dapat dinilai secara berkesan, cepat dan menjimatkan masa . Jalinan strategik JPPH Malaysia dengan pihak luar diperluaskan dan memasuki fasa penting yang menjadi pemangkin kelestarian peranan JPPH Malaysia di pelbagai peringkat.Antara agensi yang berkolaborasi dengan JPPH Malaysia ialah REHDA, IRDA, RISM, Amanah Raya Berhad, JUPEM, PEPS, MIEA, MIPFM, BVAM, PEHAM, MIPEAC AVA, RAC dan sebagainya. Manakala program kerjasama di peringkat antarabangsa yang pernah dijalankan ialah melibatkan pihak TAQEEM (Arab Saudi) dan DGSAM (Indonesia). Di samping itu, JPPH Malaysia turut berkongsi maklumat dengan pihak universiti tempatan dan luar negara dengan kerjasama dua hala yang semakin erat. Hubungan kolaborasi dengan agensi kerajaan turut dikembangkan dengan LPPSA, JKPTG, PBT, Pejabat Tanah dan pihak lain yang berkaitan. Akhir kata, Jabatan akan terus berusaha untuk memberikan perkhidmatan yang terbaik kepada semua pelanggan JPPH Malaysia. Selain daripada itu, Jabatan akan sentiasa memberikan kerjasama dan sokongan padu dalam memberi nasihat kepada kerajaan tentang penilaian dan perkhidmatan harta tanah. Jabatan berpegang kuat kepada falsafah kerja, kod etika Jabatan, nilai-nilai murni, integriti, slogan dan peraturan sedia ada yang mesti dipatuhi oleh setiap warga JPPH Malaysia dalam melaksanakan tugas. Justeru itu, saya mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang memberikan kerjasama sepenuhnya dalam mendokumenkan Buku Laporan Tahunan ini yang telah berjaya dihasilkan dalam tempoh yang ditetapkan.
