The following 24 lots were salvaged by Captain Mike Hatcher in 1999, from the wreck of the trading junk Tek Sing (True Star) which sank off of the Indonesian coast on 6th February 1822. Despite it's modest size, being only 54 m long and 10 m wide, it is often referred to as the Titanic of the East as over 1600 perished when it was lost. 13.
