Natasha was lured into the sex trade industry when she was 15, and trafficked across Canada before managing to escape the clutches of her pimp when she was 27. As co- founder of Canada's first survivor led political activism coalition, Sex Trade 101, in 2007, Natasha has spoken throughout Canada and internationally on sex trafficking and it's causes. She trains police officers, crown attorneys and community workers and has supported over 1000 victims of sex trafficking. Natasha provided extensive consultation for the Canadian Government on legislation targeting human rights abuses of vulnerable women and children. She has presented to the United Nations and offered her expertise in the formation of their sex trade policy, and served as an expert witness before Senate and Natasha Falle parliamentary committees. Natasha is known as one of Canada's most knowledgeable and compelling advocates for ending and sex trafficking of women and children.

Human trafficking survivor, author, speaker and social advocate, Timea Nagy, immigrated to Canada in 1998. The daughter of a Hungarian police woman, Timea was held hostage (FOR THREE TERRIFYING MONTHS) at the hands of traffickers, forced to work in the . Thankfully, she escaped and started life anew. Ten years later, Ms. Nagy founded ‘Walk with Me’, a non-profit organization to assist victims of and law enforcement agencies. Between 2009 and 2015, her organization helped over 300 victims and over 500 human trafficking- This conference features some of the related investigations throughout Canada. Meghan Young is an Anishinaabe and Metis woman from Owen Sound. She is of the Personal experiences on the topic of miskwaadesi (painted turtle) clan. She is currently completing her Masters of Social Work at Lakehead University in Orillia, and part of her work has been focusing on the impacts Human Trafficking and Victimization of Human Trafficking for Indigenous women and girls in Canada. Meghan is passionate about working with Indigenous peoples and communities, and has been working in Indigenous social services for over ten years. Some of her work has focused in community-based Indigenous research, mental health and addictions, developmental Survivors of the Sex-Trade and the Meghan Young services and community development. industry of Human Trafficking
