k c a B Office Bearers 2015/2016 Hon. President : Charles R Gallacher Hon. Vice President : Stuart Urquhart Hon. Treasurer : George Dingwall National Secretary : Thomas McKeown A Word From The President

On behalf of the Scottish Amateur Football Association I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to everyone attending today's Sunday Trophy Final here at the Forthbank Stadium. We are indebted to Innovatus Sports for their support of the Sunday Trophy and their contribution and enthusiasm for amateur football is a great boost to our game and is very much appreciated by our Association.

My congratulations to the players and officials of Dundee Argyle AFC and Bullfrog AFC on reaching today's final, the culmination of their sterling efforts over 6 rounds and their semi-final ties. It will be a special day for both teams making their first Sunday Trophy Final appearance.

We are extremely grateful to the Directors and Staff of Stirling Albion FC for the use of their excellent facilities which greatly enhance the standing of the final for all concerned in today's match.

The competition reaches it's conclusion due to the hard work of all those involved in Sunday football, particularly our referee co-ordinators Iain Cowden and Gordon Farmer and our Technical Adviser Stephen McLaughlin and the network of match secretaries at league level who are supported by the National Secretary Thomas McKeown and Administrative Assistant Mary Jardine. Their work should not go unnoticed as it is their combined efforts which culminates in today's Final.

To the supporters of both clubs and neutral spectators, we value your attendance and hope you all enjoy what we hope will be a fine spectacle.

MR CHARLES R. GALLACHER PRESIDENT SCOTTISH AMATEUR FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION A WORD FROM THE REFEREE COORDINATOR

Welcome to the Scottish Amateur Sunday Trophy Final here at the Forthbank Stadium, Stirling.

Todays Final is contested between Dundee Argyle AFC (DSAFA) and Bullfrog AFC (C&DAFL) neither team having won the trophy before which means we will have a new name on the trophy after today.

Dundee Argyle AFC and Bullfrog AFC are to be congratulated for being the last two clubs from an initial entry of 251 clubs, well done to you both.

The third team today are the match Officials Referee Andrew McLean (A&CAFA) Assistant Andrew Tait (WLSAFL) Assistant Andrew Dougan (WLSAFL) 4th Official Roy Meikle (LEAFA Sunday)

I wish all participants all the very best and hope they all enjoy the occasion, I am eagerly looking forward to a very exciting match having seen both semi- finals.

It would be remiss of me if I did not take this opportunity to also thank our North Referee Coordinator Gordon Farmer for his assistance throughout the season and to thank all the Clubs, the League Match Secretaries, and Referees who have been of a great assistance from round one.

To the office staff Thomas McKeown, Stephen McLaughlin and Mary Jardine for all their help and assistance throughout the competition especially for their organisation of the Final in two days after Livingstone become unavailable.

Have a good day and enjoy the match!

Dundee Argyle were formed in 2004. Joined the Dundee Sunday Boys league at u/19 level in 2004 for 2 years.

In season 06/07 Argyle stepped up into the Dundee Sunday Welfare league. Argyle continued in the Welfare league with continued sponsorship by Mark McGurty from the Barrels, with the highlights being winning the Tayside Cup, 3-0 against Craws Nest AFC in 2010 and the League title in 2008/09 going the whole season in the league unbeaten and then when the Sunday Morning League and Sunday Welfare league amalgamated in season 13/14.

Argyle then joined with the leagues in the new set up. After only ever progressing to the the last 16 of the Scottish Amateur Sunday Trophy twice, this seasons final is the furthest Argyle have progressed in the Sunday Trophy.

P.G. Aiton (Age:21) (Goalkeeper) Has been at the club for a couple of years now and is getting better with every game. Shot stopping is amazing and his kicking from the box is second to none. Think the technical name is CAT!

Derek O’Reilly (Age: 33) (Goal Keeper/Defender/Midfielder/Forward) Founding member of the club and can play a bit too willing to play anywhere on the park and boy does Del like to make a challenge.

Paul Daly, 12/4/91, Defender Full back can use both feet comfortably and works tirelessly up and down the flank.

Danny Young, 27/9/90, Defender Full back, clever and silky on the ball and is mister consistent. Good tackler also and has great attitude.

Jordan Welsh, 7/12/93, Defender Second spell with the club…he’s a big powerful lad who’s great with the ball at his feet and in the air.

Ian Caufield, 17/4/87, Defender In his first season with the club and has slotted in as if he’s played with the club for years. Excellent fullback who can pick out passes and crosses with ease.

Marc Connell, 3/7/86, Defender Also in his first season and is a diminutive full back with a great attitude.

Liam Edward, 14/9/85, Defender Back for a second stint at the club, Liam is another player who reads the fame well and is comfy on the ball, makes the game look easy!

Billy Ross, 2/2/98, Defender Baby of the team and will be some player if he sticks at it, he’s a great dribbler and for his diminutive stature shows great courage in a challenge.

Ryan McMillan, 25/06/92, Defender/Midfielder Ryan can play at the back and midfield, he’s great on the ball with good vision for a pass and always gives 100%. Unfortunately, Ryan is out just now with injury but we know he’ll come back stronger. BULLFROG AFC CARLUKE AND DISTRICT AFL

David Forrester, 6/7/90 (Midfielder) Hard working, hard tackling midfielder with excellent attitude.

Scott Donald, 18/12/87 (Midfielder) Second spell with the club, he is classy on the ball and has excellent attitude.

Paul Moore, 31/12/89 (Midfielder) Paul has only just joined the team and hasn’t featured much, but we know he’s comfy on the ball and strong in the tackle.

Steven Dunn, 6/3/89 (Midfielder) Good, good, good footballer, hard tackler, good passer of the ball, composed on the ball and will plat anywhere for the team with no questions asked.

Darren McGhee, 12/4/94 (Midfielder) Young Darren has all the attributes to become a great player and is developing quickly. He doesn’t feature every game, but never complains.

Colin Gillies, 29/11/87 (Midfielder) Simply one of the best players in the amateur game has everything: vision, dribbling, shooting, free kicks, this guy has the lot!

Scott Ledwith, 3/9/85 (Midfielder) Also in his first season and has fitted in well, he’s extremely hard working and loves a tackle, good the air and has a knack for scoring important goals.

Craig Anderson, 6/6/88 (Midfielder) In his first season too, another who hasn’t feature much but we do know that Craig is extremely hard working on the park and has an excellent attitude.

David Penman, 24/12/81, Midfielder Great player who looks as if he strolls through games…picks out passes and is probably as strong as they come. David is also unfortunately injured and hasn’t featured much this season.

William McMaster, 15/6/89, Midfielder Our very own Maestro! Just a superb footballer…has talent oozing and can do everything! BULLFROG AFC CARLUKE AND DISTRICT AFL

William Weir, 10/11/86, Midifielder Captain…Mr Bullfrog…loves the club! He covers every blade on the park every game, has great attitude and is the first name on the team sheet. Can’t speak highly enough about it.

Jamie Kane, 7/10/85, Centre Half Towering centre half with great footballing ability and reading of the game.

Stephen Cane, 26/1/91, Centre Half Fairly new to the team, but quickly established himself into the centre of defence. Also reads the game well and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

John Fowler, 16/5/90, Forward Great attacker with pace and ability. Great at creating space for himself and knows where the goal is.

John Hendry, 26/9/82, Forward In his third spell at the Bully now and he’s only getting better. This boy just scores goals for fun. He contributes far more than that though, he is the complete package.

Alan Sterling, 2/1/93, Forward In his first season with the club, hasn’t featured much, but is a big strong centre forward who knows where the net is.

Phil McAulay, 1/8/88, Forward Been with the club since we started – what a player he is. Scores goals, creates goals and just loves the Bully!

Gordon Douches, 6/3/92, Forward What a guy! He’s late when he’s early and vice versa…but boy can he play. Can give guys 4 yards of a start and still beat them to the ball, his finishing isn’t bad either.

Stephen Boyle, 16/10/91, Forward Stephen on his day has the ability to totally run riot scoring goals and creating goals, good player! BULLFROG AFC CARLUKE AND DISTRICT AFL

The club was formed in 2004 under a previous name, "The Cherry Tree" and in 2005 changed their name to 'Bullfrog AFC". The club was made up of local boys from the Muirhouse and Motherwell area and has continued that tradition of keeping the team local and friends. Their main sponsor, The Bullfrog Bar, is the hub of their team. Like every team they've had their ups and downs, but the last five seasons have see the team mature and develop into a great side whilst maintaining the attitude of being there for fun.
