Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Dirty Jersey ‘60’ Event Specific Rules;

Note: If any competitor must introduce a backup car anytime after qualifying, the competitor must relinquish any earned qualifying position and start from the rear of the field for any race in which the backup car is introduced into competition.

Tires: The “Hoosier” D300 and the D400 as a right rear tire option only will be permitted.

Fuel: Only VP D-113, D-12 will be permitted.

Dirty Jersey ‘60’ Qualifying Procedures:

 30 Car Field. (4 Provisional positions available to the Top-15 in the current 2013 championship point standings.)  The Qualifying Race lineups will be based on Group Time Trials.  Top 12 qualifiers in qualifying races will redraw for starting position in the 60-lap feature.  Number of Qualifying Races will be based on the total number cars competing in the event. (8-lap qualifying races)  1 (or multiple) ‘B’-Features (10-laps) may be required – Number of Transfers will be posted at the trailer.  The Dirty Jersey ‘60’ will be based on the 100-point schedule. Qualifying Race points will be awarded.

Event Specific Rules / Race Procedures for the Dirty Jersey ‘60’:

- Group Time Trials will be based on a “green-white-checkered”. - All Qualifying Races will be 8-laps. All ‘B’ Features will be 10-laps. Caution laps will not count. - All original starts will be side-by-side off turn four in the area of the VP Racing Fuels ‘Making Power Point’ until the green flag is displayed. - All Restarts will be double-file with lead lap cars to the front in the area of the VP Racing Fuels ‘Making Power Point’. The leader is the control car on all starts and/or restarts. - The front row must maintain the pace established by the pace car and will be signaled to do so, on the one-way radio, if in the judgment of the Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Officials, the pace is not maintained a penalty and/or penalties may be issued. - There will be no EZ Pass candidate in any Qualifying Races and/or ‘B’ Features. - The races may be extended past their scheduled distance with a green-white-checker finish.

- The feature will be 60-laps. Caution laps will not count. - There will be a four (4) wide pace lap. Odd numbered rows pull to the outside, even numbered rows pull up and fill in. This will be instructed over the one-way radio. - The Original start will be side-by-side off turn four in the area of the VP Racing Fuels ‘Making Power Point’ until the green flag is displayed. - All restarts up to lap 50 will be double-file with lead lap cars to the front - lapped cars will drop to the inside under caution and rejoin the field beginning after the last car on the lead lap in their order of running on the race track at the time of the caution. - After the completion of lap 50, all remaining restarts will be single file with lead lap cars to the front until the completion of the event.

2013 Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Event 1

Event Specific Rules / Race Procedures for the Dirty Jersey ‘60’ continued:

- On all starts and restarts the front row must maintain the pace established by the pace car and will be signaled to do so, on the one-way radio, if in the judgment of the Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Officials, the pace is not maintained a penalty and/or penalties may be issued. - The leader is the control car on all starts and/or restarts. Only the leader has choice of inside or outside on starts and/or restarts. - When the caution is displayed, get into single-file order, you will be signaled over the one-way radio when it is time to go double-file and/or restart single file. - If the caution is displayed and you must pit, you will not lose a lap in the pits. You may only lose a lap on the race track under green flag conditions. - If at any time the red flag is displayed and competitors are signaled to stop due to a red flag condition, cars must come to a complete stop. After the field is Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series stopped and is under control of the pace car, Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Dirty Jersey ‘60’ Purse: Series Officials, will instruct any vehicle not involved in the red flag incident that 1 $6,000 needs to pit for service, to pull up to the pace car prior to being released to the 2 4,000 pit area on the one-way radio. Any car that pits during the red flag period will be required to restart at the tail of the field in their respective position. If any car 3 2,500 heads to the pits without following the instructing over the one-way radio, a 1-lap 4 1,800 penalty may be issued. 5 1,600 - There will be one (1) car eligible for the ‘EZ Pass Reward’ on each caution. The 6 1,400 only car eligible will be the first one (1) lap down. The ‘EZ Pass’ car will be 7 1,200 signaled over the one-way radio to pull up behind the pace car, but must not 8 1,000 proceed past the pace car until instructed to do so on the one-way radio. - All races may end with a green-white-checker finish. 9 800 - One-way radios are mandatory – two-way radios will not be permitted. 10 700 - It is mandatory to have the following decals on the car (DIRTcar, Super DIRTcar 11 600 Series, VP Racing Fuels and Hoosier) and the driver must have a VP patch on 12 500 his uniform. 13 400 - To be eligible for other available contingencies you must run the decals. 14 375 Included is a guided map for two available options to place decals on your vehicle. 15 350 - Immediately following the conclusion of the event, the first place car needs to go 16 325 to the scale first, then we need second and third to the scales and to victory 17 300 lane. 18 300 - World Racing Group, Super DIRTcar and/or DIRTcar Officials reserve the right 19 300 to alter the rules of this and/or any event, provided the competitors are given notice (in advance and/or over the one-way radio) due to any circumstance that 20 300 require such a change or alteration. 21 300 22 300 Technical Inspection: 23 300 24 300  Be prepared for inspection at New Egypt Speedway when Technical Inspection 25 300 begins on Post Race Weights: Tuesday, June 26 300 th DIRTcar Big Block Mods = 2,500 lbs 18 , 2013 @ 27 300 DIRTcar 500 Spec. = 2,500 lbs 4:00pm: 28 300 DIRTcar 358 Modified Ported Intake and Optional Exhaust = 2,450 lbs 29 300 Inspection to be prepared for: DIRTcar 358 Modified Stock Intake & Spec Exhaust = 2,350 lbs 358 Mods Ported Iron Heads = 2,650 30 300 Safety and General Inspection Carburetor Inspection General Body Inspection Pre-Race Engine Inspection Fuel Samples from Fuel Cell Overall Inspection

Competitor Picnic Presented by Dietz & Watson, ERK Steering & Danny’s Pizza Pizzazz of Franklinville and Millville: Modified and Sportsman competitors and their crews at the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ will take part in a complimentary pre-race picnic in the pit area. Hot dogs, light snacks and beverages will be served for those wishing to take part as a thank you for the support of racers at the inaugural event.

PA-NJ-DE Hoosier Tire Giveaway: Modified teams in New Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware are eligible to enter for a drawing of 10 FREE Hoosier tires. The 10 winning names will be selected and announced at the Rolling Wheels (N.Y.) Raceway Super DIRTcar Series event on Wednesday, June 5. Drivers receive the tires completely free of charge, so long as they attend the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ event.

Art’s Radiator Award: Art’s Radiator of Flemington, N.J., has donated a radiator and shroud combination, worth $750, to be awarded randomly to a team finishing second on back in the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified feature event. The drawing will take place by a fan in the grandstand area.

New Yorker Guaranteed Starting Position: The ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified feature winner will earn a guaranteed starting position in the New Yorker $10,000-to-win event to be held Monday, Sept. 2, 2013 at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, N.Y. The 100-lap event pays $10,000 to the winner and $400 to take the green flag. This is a fully paid guaranteed starting position!

Avis “We Try Harder” Award: The Avis “We Try Harder” Award offers $300 cash and a commemorative plaque to a ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified competitor who struggled to qualify for the main, advanced toward the front via a consolation starting spot or overcame obstacles during the feature to post a respectable finish. The “We Try Harder” Award is presented by Avis, serving the Jersey Shore with locations in Monmouth, Ocean and Burlington counties.

Alex Friesen Remembered Qualifying Bonuses: The driver earning the last qualifying spot in each of the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified heat races will take home $68 cash thanks to friends of the late Alex Friesen. Friesen, the energetic promoter who lost his life tragically in 1996, used the No. 68 as a competitor.

Teo-Pro Car Halfway Challenge: Teo-Pro car will present the Modified halfway leader in the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ with a $600 product certificate. The race-leading car does not have to be a Teo-Pro car; it must sport a Teo-Pro sticker to be eligible for the award.

Stan Friesen Memorial Lap 52: In memory of family patriarch Stan Friesen, who passed away during the off-season, lap 52 in the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ has been dedicated to the well-respected promoter, racer and ambassador of the sport. For each feature event his grandson Stewart Friesen wins prior to June 18, $10 is added to the lap-52 total to be paid to the leader.

Bob Hilbert Sportswear Incentives: The top-three finishers in the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified event will earn $100 credits toward the purchase of Express or Custom tees from Bob Hilbert Sportswear in Boyertown, Pa.

‘Hard Luck Award’ From Shiley Fabrication: One driver enduring misfortune throughout the evening will be selected as the Modified ‘Hard Luck Award’ recipient at by ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ officials and media members. This driver will take home a front bumper, rear bumper and left- and right-side rubrails courtesy of Gary Shiley, owner of Shiley Fabrication in Williamstown, Pa.

Beer City Lead A Lap, Drink A Beer Bonus: Beer City of Quakertown, Pa., will reward each of the (over 21) lap leaders in the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ and ‘Turnpike 25’ with a can of beer per lap led. Beers will be delivered at the conclusion of the night’s events.

BFP Specialty $500 Body Credit: A Modified driver finishing 11th on back (including drivers unable to qualify) will be eligible to receive a $500 credit toward the purchase of a new body , thanks to Jason Bashore of BFP Specialty in Bethel, Pa.

S&D Bodyline $100 Bonus: One driver unable to qualify for the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified field will receive a $100 gift certificate toward the purchase of a new body from Don Biegley, owner of S&D Bodyline in Bath, Pa.

2013 Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Event 4

Fatheadz Eyewear: Fatheadz Eyewear will supply a pair of their “Slash” polarized sunglasses to each of the Modified podium finishers (first, second and third) in the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified event and the winner of the Open vs. Crate Sportsman ‘Turnpike 25’ main.

VP Fuels Sportsman Winner: VP Racing Fuels will reward the winner of the ‘Turnpike 25’ Open vs. Crate Sportsman main event with a FREE drum of racing fuel.

S&W Awards Winner’s Trophy: S&W Awards and Photos of Lindley, N.Y., will present the ‘Dirty Jersey 60’ Modified winner with a custom-built trophy.

To be eligible for contingency awards, based on the 2013 contingency agreements participating manufacturer decals are mandatory. The decal must be the actual in decal (proper in size and color – monotone and wraps will not be permitted) and must be placed in a manner as in the photos included.
