Tires; B.) Only Hoosier Racing Tires will be permitted in any DIRTcar sanctioned events. Hoosier (the tire manufacturer) will mark/stamp/brand all legal tires with specified compound and/or other specific DIRTcar designations as listed below; Front or Rear Tires; 1.) “DIRT Soft” 2.) “DIRT Hard” 1.) “M45” 2.) “D50” 3.) “D60” Tire Size and Compound Designation: 1.) 11/87-15 M45, D50 2.) 11/90-15 M45, D60 Fuel; Only ‘D’-type VP Racing Gasoline, the official fuel of DIRTcar will be permitted for competition. VP D-98 or a maximum octane will be the only specified fuel permitted at any sanctioned DIRTcar and/or Super DIRTcar Series event. In addition a maximum “94 octane, R+M/2” standard pump gasoline will be permitted. Blending of fuels or gasoline, including VP spec (including ‘D’) fuels of different octane will not be permitted. Alcohol, methanol, nitrous oxide, nitro-methane and/or propylene oxide will not be permitted. Fuel may be subject to inspection and testing at any time. Proof of purchase for the official fuel of DIRTcar may be required. DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series Event Specific Rules; 30 Car Field Maximum. (4 Provisional positions available to the 2013 Top-12 in the current season championship point standings. Provisional starting positions will be awarded to the first 4 drivers in the Top-12, who have failed to qualify for the feature race.) Number of Qualifying Races will be based on the total number cars competing in the event. (8-lap qualifying races) 2 (or more) ‘B’-Features (10-laps) – Number of Transfers will be posted. Top 12 Driver’s from qualifying will redraw for starting position in the feature. The race will be based on the 150-point schedule. *** Payoff will be after the conclusion of the event. 2013 Super DIRTcar Series Event Initials ____/______ 1 Event Specific Rules Continued; Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series Purse: - All starts are side-by-side until the green flag is displayed. The front row must 1 $1,000 maintain the pace established by the pace car and will be signaled to do so on the 2 600 one-way radio, if in the judgment of the Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series 3 450 Officials, the pace is not maintained a penalty and/or penalties may be issued. 4 325 - All restarts in all races (qualifying, B-Main’s and or the Feature) will be double-file 5 275 with lead lap cars to the front and take place near the exit of turn four as specified 6 225 in the driver’s meeting. Single file restarts may be instituted at any time during any race at the discretion of the Series Director. 7 200 - The leader is the control car on all starts and/or restarts 8 180 - Caution laps will not count. 9 160 - If at any time the red flag is displayed and competitors are signaled to stop due to a 10 140 red flag condition, cars must come to a complete stop. After the field is stopped and 11 120 is under control of the pace car, Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series Officials, will instruct any vehicle not involved in the red flag incident that needs to pit for 12 110 service, to pull up to the pace car prior to being released to the pit area on the one- 13 100 way radio. Any car that pits during the red flag period will be required to restart at 14 100 the tail of the field in their respective position. If any car heads to the pits without 15 100 following the instructing over the one-way radio, a 1-lap penalty may be issued. 16 100 - All races will end with a green-white-checker finish 17 100 - One-way radios are mandatory. - When the caution is displayed, please get into single-file order, you will be signaled 18 100 over the one-way radio when it is time to go double-file and/or restart single file. 19 100 - It is mandatory to have the following decals on the car (DIRTcar, Super DIRTcar 20 100 Series, VP Racing Fuels and Hoosier) and the driver must have a VP patch on his 21 100 uniform. 22 100 - To be eligible for other available contingencies you must run the decals. Included is 23 100 a guided map for two available options to place decals on your vehicle. - Immediately following the conclusion of the event, the first place car needs to go to 24 100 the scale first, then we need second and third to the scales and to victory lane. 25 100 26 100 Technical Inspection: 27 100 28 100 Be prepared for inspection at Brockville Ontario Speedway Technical Inspection begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 18th, 2013: 29 100 30 100 Safety and General Inspection Carburetor Inspection General Body Inspection Post Race Weights: Pre-Race Engine Inspection GM Crate 602 Crate Engine Sportsman Modified = 2,450 lbs Fuel Samples from Fuel Cell Overall Inspection *** Note: There will be post-race inspection in the located in the inspection area, following the completion of Victory Lane Ceremonies.     2021 DIRTcar Late Models Rules & Specifications PREFACE A World Racing Group event is a competitive racing event which is intended to be conducted and officiated in accordance with the rules herein. These rules provide the guideline for all events. The rulebook may be amended from time‐to‐time and special rules may be published and/or adjusted at any event with the participants receiving prior notification. By participating in these events, all participants agree to comply with these rules and regulations. The rules are not intended to express or imply the warranty of safety as a result of publication of, or compliance with the rules and regulations as stated herein. The rules are intended to offer a guideline for the conduct and officiating of an event. The Supervisory Official shall be empowered to permit any reasonable and/or appropriate amendment from any of the specifications and/or procedures herein or impose any further restrictions that in their opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. Revisions to the rules are not intended to express or imply the warranty of safety shall not result from any such deviation or restriction of the specifications, rules and/or procedures. Any interpretation of, or deviation from, these rules herein, are left to the discretion of the racing officials and their jurisdiction is final. Any equipment changes, alterations to existing parts and/or performance enhancing changes to previously approved parts or equipment must be approved in writing prior to introduction into competition.     2019 NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week FAQs THE BIG QUESTIONS: Q: Where is NAPA Auto Parts Super Dirt Week being held? A: The 2019 event will be held at the Oswego Speedway, 300 E Albany Street, Oswego, NY 13126. Q: How is Oswego becoming a dirt track? A: Contractors will begin the conversion following the Labor Day Budweiser International Classic Labor Day Weekend. Nearly 600 truckloads of clay will be distributed over a base coat of decomposed deciduous chips. Larry Fink of DIRTcar in conjunction with Gypsum Express will lead the track effort to lay and compact the material, preparing the track over a three-week period, hence allowing ample time for the dirt to settle. A concrete gravity block barrier will be installed along the inner wall to preserve the drainage and wall heights. Once the track is laid, it will be prepared as any other dirt track by compacting and tilling the clay and adding water. The dirt will be removed and stockpiled immediately after the event. Q: Where will the Pits be? A: See the facility map on Page 3. The infield pit area will house only the active participants for the divisions on the track, as well as the grass viewing area (lawn seating) inside turns three and four. An Infield Pit Pass will be required to enter the infield. The pit and hauler parking area will be behind the Lakeview Grandstands, which has spots for nearly 325 race cars if needed. All ticketholders (Reserved and General Admission) will have access to the pit area behind the Lakeview Grandstands, but NOT the infield pit area inside the track.
