Credentials: 2014 Super DIRTcar Big Block Series Modified Credentials for teams will be valid for the 44th Annual DIRTcar Nationals. Event Specific Rules; Only the following tires will be permitted for competition in any Super DIRTcar Series events during the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park; Hoosier “ D300, “D400 or D500. The D200 will not be permitted. Heat and Feature Race Points will be awarded. Prepare by having spare tires and/or the necessary equipment ready at all times. *** Payoff will be at the trailer each night following post-race inspection. Event Specific Race Procedures; - All starts are side-by-side until the green flag is displayed. - All restarts will take place in the area of the inside wall opening in turn four, passing may not take place until your vehicle reaches this point. - The leader is the control car on all starts and/or restarts. - The leader has choice, inside or outside on the original start and/or all restarts. - All restarts will double-file with lead lap cars to the front, lapped cars will drop to the inside under caution and rejoin the field beginning after the last car on the lead lap in their order of running on the race track at the time of the caution. Lapped cars will be signaled to do so on the ‘one-way’ radio. - There will be no ‘EZ Pass’ Awarded in any race during the DIRTcar Nationals. - All races will end with a green-white-checker finish. - Cautions laps will not count in any race during the DIRTcar Nationals Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series events. - One-way radios are mandatory – two-way radios will not be permitted. INSPECTION NOTE: Be prepared for tire(s) and/or tire sample(s) to Post Race Weights: be taken at each event. Prepare by having spare tires and/or the Big Block Mods = 2,500 lbs necessary equipment ready at all times. DIRTcar 500 Spec. = 2,500 lbs 358 Mods Ported Intake and Optional Exhaust = 2,500 lbs *** Note: There will be post-race inspection in the infield at the scales 358 Mods Stock Intake & Spec Exhaust = 2,400 lbs after each event (weather permitting). Mark Hitchcock will be at the 358 Mods Ported Iron Heads = 2,650 scales. 2015 Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series Competitor Notes 2 44th Annual DIRTcar Nationals All Modified Series MANDATORY Decal Placement 2015 Bulletin regarding Super DIRTcar Series, DIRTcar, Mr. DIRTcar Series Decal Placement: To be eligible for contingency awards, based on the 2015 contingency agreements participating manufacturer decals are mandatory. The decal must be the actual in decal (proper in size and color – monotone and wraps will not be permitted) and must be placed in a manner as in the photos included. Mandatory decals include, but are not limited to; DIRTcar, Super DIRTcar Series, VP Racing Fuels, Bicknell Racing Products, Bilstein, X- Treme Lubricants, Bert, Hoosier. Any new components, including engine components, body designs, frame designs and/or components of any type utilized in competition must be approved by World Racing Group, Super DIRTcar and DIRTcar Officials prior to being introduced into competition. 15.7 Body BODY STYLE AND DIMENSIONS ALL MEASUREMENTS MAY BE TAKEN WITH OR WITHOUT DRIVER AND/ OR WITH OR WITH OUT FUEL. TOLERANCE PERMITTED ON ALL BODY DIMENSIONS IS MAXIMUM OF +/- (PLUS OR MINUS) ½”-INCH (ONE-HALF INCH). THIS IS A TOLERANCE, NOT A DIMENSION THAT IS INTENDED TO BE ADDED TO THE BODY DIMENSIONS. 15.7.5 Rear Wing Windows / Side View / Rear View A.) All rear wing panels and windows must resemble a current production OEM style body. Only manufacture approved rear wing panels and windows will be permitted for competition. Any non-manufacture rear wing panel must resemble and/or meet the criteria as the submitted rear wing panels and/or windows. Any rear wing panel that is submitted for competition must not exceed 815 square-inches in total area. All rear wing panels must be submitted for approval prior to introduction into competition. H.) Rear wing panels that direct air flow will not be permitted. Flanges and or additional material added to the rear wing panel for the purpose of directing air flow will not be permitted. 15.7.7 Door Panels A.) The side door panel(s) will be a maximum of 86” inches and a minimum of 60”-inches in front of the centerline of the rear axle when measured along the top plain.
