He then continued as a horn player in the Feliks Nowowiejski Music School in Gdańsk. He started as an amateur conductor at the age of fourteen, conducting vocal and instrumental ensembles that dealt with both oratories and instrumental music. He graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Music, where he studied conducting under Professor Bogusław Madey. His professional career began as assistant conductor and then full conductor in the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and Music Theater in Gdynia. He had managerial and artistic functions inRoma Music Theater in Warsaw, the Płock Symphonic Orchestra, and Music Theater in Lublin. Since 2012 he has been professionally engaged with Mazowsze. In the course of his career he has supervised the preparation of operas, ballets and operettas, which he then conducted. The operas include Georges Bizet’s Carmen (in co- operation with Jerzy Maksymiuk), Giuseppe Verdi’s Aida, La traviata, Nabucco andFalstaff , John Kander’s Cabaret (directed by Jerzy Stuhr), Stanisław Moniuszko’s The Haunted Manor, Jan Stefani’sCud mniemany czyli Krakowiacy i Górale [A Supposed Miracle, or Cracovians and Highlanders] (directed by Andrzej Strzelecki). Among the ballets there were Coppélia by Léo Delibes and The Nutcracker by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In the Great Theater - National Opera he has conducted a jazz concert with the participation of Urszula Dudziak, Michał Urbaniak, Wojciech Karolak, and Marcin Pospieszalski. Also, he has conducted Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass many times. Awards: The City of Lublin Artistic Award (2010) the title of Ambassador of Culture for the City of Lublin and the Lublin Region awarded by the Lublin Initiative Association (2018) the City of Lublin 700th Anniversary Medal – the honorary distinction awarded in recognition of special services for the city of Lublin (2018) Decoration of Honor Meritorious for Polish Culture awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2017) the Gold Medal of the Academy of Polish Success for the long-lasting promotion of Polish culture in Poland and abroad (2019).
