Anna Lindh Foundation 15-Year Review 2005-2020 Co-funded by the European Union on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the EuroMediterranean Partnership 2005-2020 Anna Lindh Foundation 15-Year Review 2005-2020 Foreword by the ALF President In my capacity as President of the Anna Lindh Foundation, I present with pride the Review of the first 15 years of activity of the Foundation. As the first institution of the EuroMediterranean Partnership, it has responded since its creation in 2005 to the ambitious mandate given by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the region to promote closer human, cultural and social relationships between the people of the region. First and foremost, I would like to extend a warm and sincere thank you to the Member States of the EuroMed region and the European Commission that have trusted and entrusted the Anna Lindh Foundation, ensuring throughout its institutional life the needed political and financial support. I would like to recognize the value of the collaborations established with the UFM, UNESCO, League of Arab States, CMI and World Bank, the UNAoC, OCDE, OSCE, British Council, Club de Madrid, Unimed, Copeam—to name only a few of the partners who made it possible for the ALF to ensure long-term impact, reach and quality of its action. The ALF 15-Year Review testifies this achievement, but the best testimony comes from the stories of all the beneficiaries of the Foundation’s actions, many of whom, nearly a million, I have had the pleasure to meet personally throughout my mandate. I have also had the opportunity to meet with people from different cultural backgrounds in an effort to develop their skills and knowledge in relation to diversity management and intercultural communication; to conceive and implement collaboration projects within their society and across the region; to receive awards for the recognition of their efforts and commitment to dialogue work; and to support the strengthening of civil society in the different countries of the Partnership. -

IN BRIEF The Youth Organisation “Liepājas Jaunie Vanagi” invites youth leaders and educators from organisations and institutions working with children and youth to the training course “Include your will power. Step 2”. Training course for youth leaders and educators who would like to increase and expand their competencies and activities in the area of social inclusion through non-formal learning methods. By using innovative and creative approaches to Social Inclusion Education, we will make inclusion, participation by theatre and outdoor methods. And will work on Universal Design for social inclusion. This educational project is supported by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission. AIMS OF THE TC Main aim of the training course is to develop skills and knowledge for youth leaders and trainers, who are involved in a work with social risk group youth, using non-formal methodology, based on social inclusion. To make strategy to create new local groups for to work with social inclusion. Increase awareness about human rights and social inclusion principles. To analyze situation on inclusion in European context. Sharing experience and develop knowledge about inclusion. Get knows new methods and resources available on COMPAS and ALL TOGETHER. -

In addition, intersectional, queer and post‐ colonial approaches have shown how the construction of exoticism, the processes of “othering” and the production and circulation of difference has shaped musical fields in local and national contexts as well as on the global scale. -

Study visit and project development activity between Balkan and Baltic countries Bosnia and Herzegovina, 12.-18.03.2013 REPORT General information Study visit and project development activity between Balkan and Baltic countries was organised by the SALTO South East Europe Resource Centre in cooperation with the Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian National Agencies of the Youth in Action Programme . Hereby as the cooperation between Baltic and Balkan regions under the A31 sub programme is relatively modest compared with other EU neighbouring countries, the Baltic National Agencies of the YiA programme decided in collaboration to boost the cooperation with South-East Europe. Present activity was focusing to the possibilities of Youth Exchanges (as there two possibilities under the A31 sub programme – youth exchanges and training and networking), as this could be the easiest step into to Youth in Action programme. The aim of the activity was to establish sustainable partnerships between the South East European and Baltic regions in order to develop Youth in Action projects, in particular Youth Exchanges. Objectives · To explore the youth work realities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and discover similarities and differences of youth work among the participating countries · To explore quality aspects in Youth Exchanges under the Youth in Action 3.1 sub- action: Cooperation with the Neighbouring Partner Countries of the European Union · To develop Youth Exchange project ideas and concrete action plans Participants Altogether 25 participants were selected to take part to this activity. Nevertheless, for different reasons, a considerable number of participants cancelled their participation in the last minute). Therefore, finally there were only 18 participants (5 from Estonia, 5 from Latvia, 4 from Lithuania, 2 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1 from Albania and 1 from Serbia). -
