Mormugao Base of FSI represented the institution in the above said event by setting up an exhibition stall that portrayed the mandate, objectives, research activities and the significance of the institute in the field of marine fisheries research, development and policy making in the marine fisheries sector. FSI stall was visited by various dignitaries namely: Commissioner of Fisheries, Govt. of Maharashtra, Dr. G. Gopakumar, Emeritus Scientist, CMFRI, Dr. T. T. Ajith Kumar, Senior Scientist, NBFGR, Prof. Dr. I. S. Bright Singh, FNAAS, CUSAT, The Joint Director of Fisheries, Govt. of Kerala and other dignitaries from various Central and State Govt.
