The Quincy Catholic Elementary Schools (QCES) Foundation is humbled to announce it is the recipient of a “$25,000 Challenge Grant” from the Tracy Family Foundation (TFF). The TFF will match, dollar for dollar up to $25,000, all new gifts to the QCES Foundation received between August 1 and December 1, 2020, for its Special COVID-19 Pandemic Tuition-Assistance Fund Appeal. The appeal is being conducted to replace the $100,000 in lost revenue because the QCES Foundation was forced to cancel the 2020 “EVERYBODY WINS” Mega Raffle last March because of the pandemic. If we accomplish our goal to receive $25,000 in new gifts by December 1, and, therefore, receive the full “$25,000 Challenge Grant” from the TFF, we will have recovered the $100,000 in lost revenue due to the cancellation of the Mega Raffle, and we will be able to continue to help families provide their children with a Catholic elementary school education. If you have not yet given a gift to the Special COVID-19 Pandemic Tuition-Assistance Fund Appeal, or if you previously donated to the appeal and have the means to make a second gift, the QCES Foundation encourages you to please send your donation by December 1, 2020.
