Describe your overall goals and approach to address identified community issues, needs, and interests through your station’s vital local services, such as multiplatform long and short-form content, digital and in-person engagement, education services, community information, partnership support, and other activities, and audiences you reached or new audiences you engaged. KDUR’S MISSION STATEMENT- KDUR, volunteer and student powered community radio, creates a bridge between Fort Lewis College, La Plata County and the rest of the world, offering diverse music, alternative news, and local public affairs programming. The station provides educational training opportunities in a professional setting for Fort Lewis College students and community members. KDUR continues to be a great source of news, information and entertainment for listeners in the Durango/La Plata County Colorado area that listen to radio in its most traditional sense (with a radio!) and via digital/computer-based platforms. The station goal is reflected in the mission written above; to not only bridge a gap and offer great programming, but to be the source listeners go to when they need information. Many organizations in Durango who provide local services deemed vital alert the listener to their local services via interviews and public service announcements. -

HB 14-1319 PROJECT - FOUNDATIONAL WORKING DOCUMENT Draft as of 08/13/14 Background House Bill 14-1319, signed into law in May 2014, requires the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE), the statewide coordinating board for the higher education system, to develop a new funding formula to allocate state general fund dollars among the State’s public institutions of higher education within specified parameters. The legislation lays out an aggressive time frame and specifically charges the CCHE to engage in a facilitated process with “interested parties” and ultimately adopt and weight funding factors in a new base-funding allocation formula that includes role and mission factors as well as performance metric factors. The intent of this new funding model is to, in part, determine and implement a mechanism that is more transparent and understandable for Colorado taxpayers; provides tuition predictability while ensuring both accessible and affordable higher education for residents; and, does so in harmony with the statewide goals for higher education as articulated in the CCHE’s Master Plan – Colorado Competes, A Complete Agenda for Higher Education. Purpose This foundational working document (FWD) has been developed, in collaboration with institutional research representatives and Chief Financial Officers from Colorado public colleges, facilitated by CDHE staff, to establish a foundation of consistent and accurate definitions and data sources to be utilized and relied upon when addressing the various components of the bill. This document will be shared with Funding Modeling Expert Team to use as a foundation for their discussions as they begin to work on building a funding model with factor and metric definitions and data sources that are “consistent and predictable” as well as “transparent and understandable”, as required by law. -

D Professor of Economics and Finance Summary Dr. Powanga is a distinguished professor and seasoned economist globally recognized as a creative problem solver, a visionary, and a thought leader. He has developed and taught logistics, economics, finance, international business, strategy, and commercialization courses and incubating student businesses. He was involved in pioneering the Online MBA Program, which grew from zero to over 4,000 students worldwide. He chaired the MBA program and helped develop the Physicians MBA program and joint graduate degrees with Management Concepts, the University of ITESO(Mexico), and Ulster (Ireland). He was a founding board member of the Sullivan Center for Entrepreneurship at Regis University. Luka has chaired, keynoted, organized numerous academic and business conferences at national and international levels and is a regular contributor to the Renewables Global Status and the Renewables in Cities Global Status Reports. He has appeared on local and foreign media outlets such as 9News. Luka founded the Energy Africa Conference, the world's premier energy conference on Africa. He develops and implements energy projects and connects investors from all over the world to projects in Africa. He is also the Founder and host of the Executive Speaker Night Series. Luka is a founding member of the Denver Chapter of the Angel Capital Group, which funds start-ups and growth companies. Nisqually Transmission Line Relocation Project Preliminary Environmental Assessment Bonneville Power Administration Fort Lewis Military Reservation Nisqually Indian Tribe Bureau of Indian Affairs October 2004 Nisqually Transmission Line Relocation Project Responsible Agencies and Tribe: U.S. Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration (Bonneville); U.S. Department of Defense, Fort Lewis Military Reservation (Fort Lewis); the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA); and the Nisqually Indian Tribe (Tribe). Name of Proposed Project: Nisqually Transmission Line Relocation Project Abstract: Bonneville proposes to remove and reroute two parallel transmission lines that cross the Nisqually Indian Reservation in Thurston County, Washington. Bonneville’s easement across the Reservation for a portion of the Olympia-Grand Coulee line has expired. Though Bonneville has a perpetual easement for the Olympia-South Tacoma line across the Reservation, the Tribe has asked Bonneville to remove both lines so the Tribe can eventually develop the land for its community. The land fronts State Route 510 and is across the highway from the Tribe’s Red Wind Casino. In addition, the Tribe would like Bonneville to remove the two lines from a parcel next to the Reservation that Fort Lewis owns. The Tribe is working with Fort Lewis to obtain this parcel, which also has frontage on SR 510. Bonneville is proposing to remove the portions of these lines on the Reservation and on the Fort-owned parcel and rebuild them south of SR 510 on Fort Lewis property. Fort Lewis is willing to have these lines on their federal property, in exchange for other in-holdings currently owned by Thurston County that the Tribe would purchase and turn over to Fort Lewis. -

Underrated A+ Colleges and Universities These are colleges and universities that are not quite “tip of the tongue” schools but are generally regarded as among the best educations in the United States, and are certainly well known to national companies and graduate schools. Some of these schools may not be as “front end” selective as an Ivy or Ivy-Like institution, but don’t confuse selectivity with the educational delivery product. Some schools are moderately selective for a variety of reasons (geography, age, size) but still retain A+ level faculty resources, classroom instruction, and top end exit oriented processes (getting a Job or getting into graduate school). Remember, college is often what YOU make of it and not necessarily what others think your experience should be. 1.Einleitung Im September 1990 hatten zwei Absolventen einer päd. Fachhochschule die Idee, einen kleinen Kindergarten zu gründen. Vorbild bildeten die alternativen Kindergärten in Westdeutschland und es sollte eine Alternative zu den bestehenden DDR-Einrichtungen geschaffen werden. Durch die fleißige und engagierte Arbeit der Beteiligten konnte der Kindergarten im September 1991 mit 12 Kindern eröffnet werden. Die vorliegende Konzeption berücksichtigt den sächsischen Bildungsplan, gleichzeitig auch die rechtliche, verwaltungstechnisch, sozial und landschaftlich spezifische Situation in Dresden. 2. Rahmenbedingungen Der Kindergarten befindet sich im Dresdner Stadtteil Trachau –Wilder – Mann. Der von Gründerzeitvillen geprägte , grüne Stadtteil ist ein beliebtes Zuzugsgebiet für junge Familien. In der Kinderoase werden derzeit 22 Kinder im Alter von 1,5 Jahren bis zum Schuleintritt in einer altersgemischter Gruppe betreut . Nach Möglichkeit werden gleich viele Mädchen und Jungen in die Gruppe aufgenommen.In der Kinderoase sind 3 Mitarbeiterinnen ( staatlich anerkannte Erzieherinnen und Diplompädagogin) beschäftigt. Das Team arbeitet basisdemokratisch zusammen. Außerdem sind in der Kinderoase eine Praktikantin im Freiwilligen Sozialen Jahr und ein Bundesfreiwilliger tätig. Zudem besteht die Möglichkeit, soziale Praktika zu absolvieren, um sich im Berufsleben zu orientieren. Der Kindergarten ist ganzjährig geöffnet. Ausnahmen sind die Weihnachtsferien, der Gründonnerstag, Brückentage und die Klausur der Pädagogen an welchen die Kinderoase geschlossen bleibt. Die Eltern werden darüber rechtzeitig informiert. Die Kinder können Montag bis Freitag zwischen 7.30 Uhr und 16.30 Uhr betreut werden. Räumlichkeiten und Orte: Dem Kindgarten steht eine Fläche von insgesamt 120 m2 auf zwei Etagen zur Verfügung. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein heller großer Gemeinschaftsraum mit Teeküche und von diesem abgehend ein kleines Spielzimmer. Im Eingangsbereich sind Garderobe und ein Bad mit Toilette zu finden. -
