Campaspe Shire Council 2018 Seniors Festival CELEBRATE OUR SENIORS THIS OCTOBER Welcome to the 36th Victorian Seniors Festival Across , seniors make our state kinder, wiser, and more compassionate. The Victorian Seniors Festival is a chance to celebrate these contributions. This year's theme is Get Social - and we encourage you to do exactly that. Starting on Sunday, 7 October through to Sunday, 14 October, the Victorian Government initiative will see more than 1,500 free and low-cost individual events and activities held across the state, many of them run by local councils. Campaspe Shire Council’s program this year features a range of entertainment, adventure and fun-focused activities across sports and the arts. The Seniors Festival’s Country Concert Series features Rubber Soul. Skills-building exercises, such as calligraphy, social croquet, aquatic events, historic guided tours, computer skills sessions, legal and financial sessions – are all part of a jam-packed Festival Program across our shire. Events are free or low-cost and free public transport will be available for Seniors Card holders during the Festival’s first week from 7 to 14 October.
