Deus abençoe! “Se a chuva me alcançar e o barco revirar, que eu acorde em terra firme Lá” Os arrais “Minha jangada vai sair pro mar, vou trabalhar, meu bem querer” Dorival Caymmi RESUMO Este trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar a diversidade e distribuição da macrofauna na plataforma continental ao largo do litoral sul de Pernambuco, Brasil. Para tanto, foram analisadas 83 amostras de sedimento provenientes de 6 campanhas: fevereiro de 2001(11 amostras) e fevereiro de 2004 (25 amostras) sendo o material destas amostras avaliado quanto aos componentes biogênicos. E duas campanhas (maio e junho) em 2016 (29 amostras) e 2 campanhas (abril e agosto) em 2017 (18 amostras) sendo estas 4 últimas campanhas avaliadas quanto a diversidade e distribuição da macrofauna. Foram encontrados como os principais componentes do bioclasto: Foraminífera, Macroalgas e Moluscos. Os componentes biogênicos formaram 3 grupos distintos relacionados à granulometria classificados em sedimentos finos, médios e grossos, mostrando um gradiente ambiental, associado também a profundidade e com uma maior diversidade de elementos concomitante ao aumento da granulometria. Analisando a macrofauna obtida nos anos de 2016 e 2017, Mollusca, Crustacea e Annelida foram os principais componentes da macrofauna. A plataforma continental externa foi mais rica e diversa que a interna em ambos os anos. O ano de 2016 apresentou uma distinção maior entre a fauna da plataforma interna e da externa. O ano de 2017 apresentou mais sobreposição entre fauna das plataformas, mas ainda foram distintas. A alteração da fauna no ano de 2017 pode estar associada às mudanças no regime pluvial. Ao se separar um dos principais grupos componentes da macrofauna local, os Crustacea, fica clara a grande diversidade que a região abriga visto que, foram encontrados 202 táxons, cinco novos registros de táxons para o Brasil, 17 novos registros de táxons para o estado de Pernambuco e possíveis novas espécies. Evidenciando a necessidade de maiores esforços para conhecer e preservar a diversidade do local. Palavras-chave: Biodiversidade. Tamandaré. Fauna bentônica. Área de proteção marinha. ABSTRACT The aim of this work was to evaluate the diversity and distribution of macrofauna on the continental shelf along the southern coast of Pernambuco, Brazil. For this purpose, 83 sediment samples from 6 campaign were used: Febuary of 2001 (11 samples) and Febuary of 2004 (25 samples) the material of these samples were evaluated about biogenic components. Two campaigns (May and June) in 2016 (29 samples) and 2 campaigns (June and August) in 2017 (18 samples), these last four campaigns being evaluated for diversity and distribution. As the main components of bioclast were found foraminifera, macroalgae and mollusks. The biogenic components formed three distinct groups related to granulometry classified in fine, medium and coarse sediments, showing an environmental gradient, also associated with depth and there is a greater diversity of elements concomitant to the increase of granulometry. Analyzing the macrofauna obtained in the years 2016 and 2017 Mollusca, Crustacea and Annelida were the main components of macrofauna. The outer continental shelf was richer and more diverse than the inner continental shelf in both years. The year 2016 presented a greater distinction between the fauna of the inner and outer shelf. The year 2017 presented more overlap among the fauna of shelves, but they were still different.

RESUMEN En el presente estudio se elaboró el listado taxonómico actualizado de los gasterópodos de la planicie del arrecife “Verde”, en el Parque Nacional Sistema Arrecifal Veracruzano (PNSAV), Veracruz. Se realizaron siete salidas al área de estudio (junio de 2017 a septiembre de 2018), en las cuales se hicieron muestreos aleatorios, cubriendo un área de 275 m2. Se registró un total de 66 especies, reunidas en 50 géneros y 31 familias. Un total de 13 especies, nueve géneros y dos familias representan nuevos registros para el área de estudio. Con estos nuevos registros, la riqueza específica para el arrecife “Verde” queda conformada por 109 especies, agrupadas en 71 géneros y 40 familias de gasterópodos. Discussion 215 Acknowledgements 217 References 217 The newly discovered Campanian species Vermetus nielseni n. sp., Desbruyeresia antigua n. sp. and Litiopella schoeningi n. gen. n. sp. are described and the taxonomy of these gastropod groups is reassessed. Based on their protoconch morphology and radula characters, the Dendropominae, Provannidae, Litiopidae and Sculptifer are considered as related taxa within the Cerithioidea. They are interpreted to have arisen from a common ancestor that lived during the Cretaceous, apparently parallel to the radiation of the Vermetidae. Férussac, 1828) from a spring near Crisul Negru (Romania), and Holandriana holandri (C. Pfeiffer, 1828) from Lake Skutari (Montenegro), as well as Melanopsis costata Oliver, 1804 from Iraq, are con- sidered is this paper. Eight partial sequences of ribosomal 18S, and seven of mitochondrial COI were analysed. Maximum likelihood trees based on 18S confirm the placement of the Melanopsidae within the Cerithioidea, as well as the monophyly of the latter group. The COI-based tree confirms the placement of the Melanopsidae within the Cerithioidea, but does not confirm the monophyly of either Melanopsidae or Cerithioidea. The re- sults suggest that Fagotia should be synonymised with Melanopsis, Holandriana is a distinct genus, and Melanopsis costata is not congeneric with M. parreyssii. The application of molecular clock, with one point cali- bration for COI for the Hydrobiidae, estimated the times of divergence as 2.53±0.56 Mya for M. parreyssii and F. acicularis, 9.49±1.67 Mya for M. parreyssii and H. holandri, and 10.71±1.88 Mya for F. acicularis and H. holandrii. 2.5 Mya coincides with the beginning of the glacial period in Europe, and 8–12 Mya was the time when Lake Pannon covered the largest area.

Phylogenetic analyses of partial sequences spanning approximately 450 nucleotides near the 5' end of the IBS rDNA strongly support the monophyly of Apogastropoda and its constituent clades. Caenogastropoda and Heterobranchia. Representatives of the architaenioglossan groups Cyclo- phoroidea, Ampullariidae and Viviparidae invaiiably emerge within Caenogastropoda in all analy- ses. While the Cyclophoroidea and Ampullariidae are monophyletic, the varying position of Viviparidae in all outcomes contradicts its hypothesized sister group relationship with Ampul- lariidae, and thus the monophyly of Ampullarioidea. These Modulidae belong to the Ame- rican groups Modulus modulus and Trochomodulus. In addition, three new species are described: Mo- dulus benoisti sp. nov. (Serravallian), Trochomodulus stampinicus sp. nov. (Rupelian), which is close to Trochomodulus sublaevigatus (ORBIGNY, 1852), a Chattian species, and Incisilabium trochiformis sp. nov. (Priabonian). The latter is the oldest known Modulidae, together with Incisilabium parisiensis (DE- SHAYES, 1832) (Middle Eocene) that was previously classified in the Trochidae. These results show that the paleobiogeography and origin of the family Modulidae need to be reconsidered.
