[email protected], web Pages. www.cendev.in The Association The association, “Centre for Development” (CƒD) is a social, non-political and non-profit making voluntary organization, established by the experienced professional (Rural Development, Sociologist, Para-medicine and Environment) youths on the auspicious birthday of our national father 2nd October 1998. And later on, it received the legal status under the Indian Trust Registration Act 1882 on 11th of July 2000. Somewhere, these youths were in association with full fledged and established NGOs in The association of youths voluntarily felt Jharkhand. Promotion of Local organizations: Self Help Group (women): Nos. of Groups Nos. of Members Savings in Rupees Inter Lending in Rupees 04 72 29565 20500 2. Capacity Building process for local organization nurturing: 4 no. of SHG training was organized at Sarwal, Ambatoli, saheda and Koiribeda villages of Namkum block with 45, 44, 29, 42 representatives and it was focused to SHG grooming, leadership development, planning, issue advocacy at local and block level. 2 no. of Farmers training on crop management at village Bandhua and Hahap of Namkum block in the month of May and December 2018 on Vegetable growing with participants 100 (70 Male and 30 female). 7 nos. of awareness camps on swacchata Mission, Health and Hygiene were organized at Sarwal, Rurungkocha, Hesapidi, Saparom and Bandhua with participation of 141 male and 135 female during 24th April 2018, 5th Sept 2018, 11th Nov 2018, 1st Dec 2018, 2nd Feb 2019, 21st Feb 2019 and 18th March 2019. 3 nos. of Human Trafficking awareness workshops were organized at Ambatoli, Tunju and Sarwal with participation of 68 male and 75 female during 11th May 2018, 7th Oct 2018 and 3rd February 2019. 3. Health care & check up camps: 8 nos. of Health camps for child, women and elders health/eye check up along with differently able children rehabilitation planning were organized in village Tunju, Chirwa, Koiribeda, Kolad, Pipratoli, Rurungkocha and Charkatoli of Namkum block of Ranchi in care of malnourished children, women, older people and differently able children and persons with 144 male and 151 women & children. 4 4. Rehabilitation/inclusion support to differently able children through Disable People Organization (DPOs): The differently able children were supported for rehabilitation process with health and education supports, parents and community counseling for child inclusion. The physicians and physiotherapists’ regular check up and expert advices for cleanliness and exercises made improvement with the children. All these intervention could be done with the help of DPOs in Namkum block organized in 25 villages with organization contribution. In this process, Mr. Ajit Kongari and Mr. Raj Kumar (OH) were facilitated for 10th examination from NIOS, New Delhi for their education continuation with vocational skill up gradation. Mr. Raj Kumar succeeded for two subjects and for one subject, he would be appearing in Oct 2019. Ms. Mini Kacchap succeeded 12th from NIOs and is preparing for competitive exam for Jobs in Govt. Sector. Two (2) fellowships were supported for NIOs Secondary Examination in the FY 2018-2019. During this financial year, we had 6 DPO Meetings in which 115 male and 102 female inclusive of children were present. In DPO meeting, we had issue of discussion for certification of differently able children, their monthly incentives, planning for right and entitlement facilitation, health check up, assessment of development in children and need based intervention etc. Gumla District: 1.
