Social Rights and Ethics Charter Editorial By Alexandre De Juniac The epitome of the values and rights underpinning the AIR FRANCE KLM Group’s identity and cohesion, the Social Rights and Ethics Charter applies to all employees of the two companies and their subsidiaries. An ambitious action plan spanning the Group as a whole, this Charter tackles various issues such as labour relations, ethics requirements and the respect for the environment and sustainable development principles. It highlights our vision of an open, united world, based on both economic responsibility and social and environmental progress. Negotiated with and signed by the staff representatives within the AIR FRANCE KLM European Works Council, this Charter is a prime example of how successful our contractual policy proves to be when it comes to achieving fair, balanced development. Every employee is now encouraged to become acquainted with this Charter and proactively endorse it. 1 Preamble The AIR FRANCE KLM Group and the AIR FRANCE KLM European Works Council (AFKL EWC) have jointly set out in this document the values and fundamental rights which underpin the identity of these two companies, and guide their social and ethics policy. These values and rights are the foundation for social, economic and cultural cohesion within each company and within the Group, which is essential to be able to share in the benefi ts of growth. The purpose of this Charter is to foster a climate of enhanced mutual trust and respect in a work environment in which no form of discrimination or harassment may be tolerated. Saul is a transport risk management specialist who takes a multidisciplinary approach to road safety problems. He was formerly the Head of Investigations and Risk Management at the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory (TRL), where his role included responsibility for road safety, collision investigation, and fleet safety teams, as well as on-scene management of rail crash incident teams. He sat on the National Level Crossing Safety Group and oversaw TRL’s multi-disciplinary input into the Ufton Nervet rail crash (2004). Saul has undertaken road safety projects for major private sector, multinational clients including BP, Shell, and ExxonMobil, as well as for government departments and other public bodies in the UK and overseas. The country’s inbound tourist volume expanded at a review-period (2008–2012) CAGR of X.XX% and is expected to record growth over the forecast period (2013–2017) at a CAGR of X.XX%. However, the government’s expenditure on tourism was less than in neighbouring countries at EURXX.X billion, accounting for only X.X% of the country’s GDP in 2012. Meanwhile, Germany, the UK and France spent EURXXX.X billion, GBPXXX.X billion and EURXXX.X billion on tourism respectively. This low expenditure is expected to have an adverse impact on the country’s travel and tourism sector over the forecast period. Domestic tourist volumes increased from XX.X million in 2008 to XX.X million in 2012, at a review- period CAGR of X.XX%. Inbound tourism also increased during the review period. The number of international arrivals rose from XX.X million in 2008 to XX.X million in 2012, at a CAGR of X.XX%. -

All reports are available on the Safety Board’s website www.safetyboard.nl 2 van 34 PRELIMINARY REPORT The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), is a specialized agency of the United Nations, created in 1944 upon the signing of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. ICAO works with 191 Member States to develop international Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for safe, efficient and secure flight operation worldwide. These Standards and Recommended Practices are reflected in Annexes. In Annex 13 - Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation - to the Convention of International Civil Aviation, Standards and Recommended practices are described for the conducting of civil aviation accident investigation. In accordance with paragraph 3.1 of ICAO Annex 13, the sole objective of this investigation is the prevention of similar accidents and incidents. It is not the purpose of this activity to apportion blame or liability in respect of any party. The State of Occurrence shall institute an investigation into the circumstances of the accident and be responsible for the conduct of the investigation, but it may delegate the whole or any part of the conducting of such investigation to another State by mutual arrangement and consent (paragraph 5.1). In the case of this occurrence, Ukraine requested the Netherlands to conduct the delegated investigation. -
