Cumbam academy was begun in the year 2004 with the aim of educating the public an appropriate and complete Acupuncture. The acupuncture medical system is indeed a part of the peerless classical science that has lost its fundamental philosophies and has been made to practice as an ancillary supporting therapy for english medicine in many countries.
And this is the condition of classical medical systems in India. The classical medical systems have been combined with the theories of english medical system saying that it is a view of modern medical science. The philosophies of classical medical science were dropped step by step and a pathetic situation arose in which usage and manufacturing of medicines became the only practical viability.
To avoid this situation, to educate this proficient acupuncture medical system which provides simple solutions for all diseases, Cumbam academy was started. The syllabus and training containing the simple practical methods of acupuncture and the strong philosophies are created by the team of masters of cumbam academy making it possibly available to each and every individual on earth.

Admissions are open for the acupuncture studies and training programs in all the centres of Cumbam academy in Tamilnadu.
By completing the training programs on time, the students who have passed the university exams will receive the certificates from the respective university. Students who have received the certificate can register themselves in the “Acupuncture Healers Federation India” and practice as an Acu healer according to the acupuncture rule of the central government.

MASTERS
Each and every master of Cumbam Academy who teach acupuncture in all the academy Centers are placed, based on the government’s suggested qualification and based on the terms and conditions of the university grants commission.
Most of the masters of Cumbam academy are scholars who have obtained Master degree in acupuncture from the government universities. All masters bear unique qualifications efficient enough to edify acupuncture. They are working for and a part of the syllabus committee of high ranked universities such as Tamil University, Alagappa University and Bharathiyar University.

Acupuncture is a wonderful medical system functioning in harmony with nature. Period: One year

EXAMINATION FEES CAN BE PAYED DURING THE EXAMINATION WHEN THE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES.
Attendance
90% of class attendance is compulsory. Students those obtain attendance between 75% to 90% can qualify themselves for the university exams by attending special classes after paying a penalty. Students obtaining less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to write the exams.
For Admissions
Admission forms are available at the head office of Cumbam academy and all the study centres.
Four photographs (3 Passport Size + 1 Stamp Size), Photo copy of academic certificates with attestation, Original certificates. The original certificates will be returned after verification.
Enclosures
Transfer certificate of 10th / 12th, 10th/ 12th statement of marks, photocopy of all the above certificate should be attested and attached.
Admission will be confirmed after the verification of the certificates. The full amount of fees should be paid in the bank by filling the challan. Confirm the office timings of the academy study centres before you go in person. Fees once paid will not be returned or compensated under any circumstances.
