Allie Blecher Originally from Fullerton, California, Allie Blecher competed in Sabots, Laser Radials, CFJ’s, C420’s, and 29er’s on both the national and international level during her sailing career. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Blecher has had success at the highest level. In 2006, Blecher finished third at the Laser Radial World Championships to finish up her junior sailing career. In 2010, she won the ISCA Women’s Dinghy National Championship and was recognized later that evening as the 2010 Quantum Collegiate Female Sailor of the Year. She was also a four time All-American by the end of her collegiate sailing career. This last year, Blecher was named the ASMBYC Yachtswoman of the Year for her successes both on and off the racecourse. Blecher continues to be an avid small boat racer, competing in the 29erXX and various keelboats.
