Norma Parker, our Membership Chair, with assistance from Kathy Berndston prepared enough food for a battleship. Appetizers, a variety of salads and wonderful baked beans accompanied the barbecue. A huge chocolate cake and pies followed the dinner. While the food was extraordinary, the opportunity to relax and talk with members and guests from Port Angeles to Gig Harbor really made the evening special. All the components for a perfect evening were there, a magnificent setting, great food and good company. At one point, even a doe and her fawn wanted to join us.
