Synopsis

Florence Fontaine is a talentless opera diva wannabe. She arrives in La Porte with her manager Cosmo Stars and her secretary Rosie, to scout a venue and begin her world concert tour. The previous evening, Florence rented Carnegie Hall to make her debut performance. Her manager Cosmo knows that she cannot sing. He loves her very much and wants to protect her from ridicule. They both are awaiting her concert reviews by special delivery - she to read them and he to intercept them. Rosie, the secretary to Florence is very shy and does not speak much. Not known to Cosmo or Florence is that Rosie has a beautiful singing voice and she should be the one to go on the world tour. While attempting to deliver the Carnegie Hall debut reviews, the delivery boy hears Rosie sing and falls madly in love with her. Cosmo is unable to intercept the terrible reviews and Florence finally realizes that she cannot sing. Cosmo proposes and Florence accepts. Rosie discovers her voice and Florence and Cosmo manage her world tour after they wed.
