Prof. Dr. H. Hadari Nawawi Pontianak, email korespondensi: [email protected] Abstract Spiders are members of the Arachnid Class that is adaptable to the various types of habitat. This study aims to identify the morphological characters of spiders in Hutan Bukit Tanjung Datok area. Samples were taken in September 2015 by using exploring method at four cardinal directions. Spiders were found at the study site as many as twenty seven specieses belonging to the thirteen families that are Agelenidae, Araneidae, Dictynidae, Linyphiidae, Liocranidae, Lycosidae, Pholcidae, Philodromidae, Salticidae, Sparassidae, Tetragnathidae, Theridiidae, and Zodariidae. Spiders body in the Hutan Bukit Tanjung Datok had varied colour, yet dominated by the spiders in brown and black. The spiders have six to eight eyes which arranged into two rows except Lycosidae and Salticidae with three rows eye arrangement, Pholcidae whose eyes only arranged in two triads. The shape of prosoma carapace is rounded, elongated and widened. Prosoma length measured ranged from 0.7 to 25.4 mm, 0.7 to 27.3 mm in width, ophistosoma length ranged from 0.9 to 28.7 mm and 0.5 to 21.6 mm in width. Koch, 1855). De genera Coelotes Blackwall, 1841 en Inermocoelotes Ovtchinnikov, 1999 zijn op aanwijzing van Miller et al. (2010) weer overgebracht naar de Agelenidae. Deze genera werden indertijd door Wunderlich (Wunderlich 1986) naar de Amaurobiidae verhuisd omdat zij volgens hem meer verwant waren aan Amaurobius C.L.

Our pilot preservation project aimed to obtain, expertly identify, and permanently preserve a quarter of the known spider species diversity shared between Slovenia and Switzerland, estimated at 275 species. We here report on the faunistic part of this project, which resulted in 324 species (227 in Slovenia, 143 in Switzerland) for which identification was reasonably established. This material is now preserved in cryobanks, is being processed for DNA barcoding, and is available for genomic studies. Currently, 78 species from 24 families and a colle- ction of 400 specimens from January to August 2010 were recorded for Tirana. A total of 32 new records for the Albanian fauna are included in the present paper. Agraecina lineata (Simon, 1878) is the first record for the Balkan Peninsula.Saitis graecus Kulczyński, 1905 was known before only from Greece and Bulgaria. Presently, 373 spider species are known for Albania. The spider collection (Arachnida: Araneae) from Albania and Kosovo in the Senckenberg Research Insti- tute, Frankfurt am Main is reviewed. A total of 122 adult specimens were found belonging to 73 species. Records of 48 species for Albania and 28 species for Kosovo, 20 of them new to Kosovo, are presented. Furthermore there are seven new country records for Albania: Platnickina nigropunctata, Erigone remota, Tenuiphantes tenebricola, Pardosa agrestis, Callobius claustrarius and Zelotes femellus. Additionally, Pardosa cavannae is the first record for the Balkan Peninsula. So far 381 species are known for Albania. A total of 106 species is known from Kosovo now; a list of the 86 spider species formerly known to Kosovo is included. The main congress venue is the newly renovated Atrium at Novi Trg 2, and the additional auditorium is the Prešernova dvorana (Prešernova Hall) at Novi Trg 4. Munis Entomology & Zoology, 12 (2): 433-469] ABSTRACT: The list provides an annotated checklist of all the spiders from Turkey. A total of 1117 spider species and two subspecies belonging to 52 families have been reported. The list is dominated by members of the families Gnaphosidae (145 species), Salticidae (143 species) and Linyphiidae (128 species) respectively. KEY WORDS: Araneae, Checklist, Turkey, Fauna To date, Turkish researches have been published three checklist of spiders in the country. The first checklist was compiled by Karol (1967) and contains 302 spider species. The second checklist was prepared by Bayram (2002). He revised Karol’s (1967) checklist and reported 520 species from Turkey. Latest checklist of Turkish spiders was published by Topçu et al. (2005) and contains 613 spider records. A lot of work have been done in the last decade about Turkish spiders. So, the checklist of Turkish spiders need to be updated. We updated all checklist and prepare a new checklist using all published the available literatures. This list contains 1117 species of spider species and subspecies belonging to 52 families from Turkey (Table 1). This checklist is compile from literature dealing with the Turkish spider fauna. The aim of this study is to determine an update list of spider in Turkey.

The present list was compiled after a critical review of the existing literature data and taxonomic review of some available collections. The study comprises 335 species from 36 families. In this number, 197 species are new to the spider fauna of the country. According to their current distribution the species can be assigned to 18 zoogeographical catego- ries, grouped into 5 complexes (Cosmopolitic, Holarctic, European, Mediterranean, Endemics). Dominant are Holarctic species (56.4%) followed by European (16.4%) and Mediterranean (16.2%). The endemics (8%) are also well presented and refl ect the local character of the fauna and the main role of the Balkan Peninsula in its origin and formation.
