Job title: Research Associate or Research Analyst (Health & Life Sciences) Department: Knowledge Services - Research Office/region: Singapore Reports to: Head of Pacific Research

Job Overview: Candidates with more relevant research experience may join as Research Analyst. For the Research Associate role, they are expected to have developed requisite research skills and knowledge of tools to provide research independently to consulting teams.

The Research Associate role is expected to perform more independently, having stronger research skills, a better understanding of management consulting business context and project environment.

Role is focused on building content knowledge for the Health & Life Sciences specialization.

The development focus will be to begin creating compelling synthesized end products which include basic analyses.

Key Responsibilities: Conducting accurate and timely research to serve the Health & Life Sciences practice group in Asia.

Providing both quick solutions and in-depth research for the Health & Life Sciences practice group in Asia. Provide support to other Research team members in production of customized materials and analysis.

Compile research results into desired format (mainly Excel workbook format or text format), customized to consulting needs.

Work with a wide range of research tools (e.g., external company and financial databases, proprietary databases, internet) to provide research support to consulting teams.

Being able to independently develop a solid approach / research strategy for the Health & Life Sciences practice group requests. Independently assess / negotiate the scope of requests, based on good understanding of Oliver Wyman business context, and project environment.

Leverage the Knowledge Management team to provide joint solutions on financial services projects.

Work with other Knowledge Services team member in other regions in sharing work and experiences. Work with aligned Practice Research teams to ensure that requests requiring subject matter expertise are addressed by them.

Produce curated newsletters (advanced, and automated where possible).

Assist in the and training of the consulting staff both with research issues generally, and with end-user training.

Adhere to Oliver Wyman Knowledge Services work standards and processes.

Experience Required: • Graduate with demonstrated research ability and understanding of consulting business

• At least 2-3 years’ experience of working in a business research environment, providing business information

• Knowledge of the Asia Pacific market and the health & life sciences sector an advantage

• Demonstrated team-player who has experience of and has enjoyed working as part of a global team
