Coordinadora Administrativa FEE Universidad Diego Portales Santa Clara 797 - Ciudad Empresaria 2213 01 03 Event: Encounters Dates: September 2014 Dear Maria Jose, Of our consideration: Based on our recent emails, we are glad to send you the first indicative draft quotation, under which VM ELITE and its related companies will provide to you the following services through the modalities indicated below. VALPARAISO EXPERIENCES OPTION 1: Valparaiso Walking through Valparaiso's Markets and Historical Quarters When visiting the city of Valparaíso, you won’t want to miss the best that the city has to offer. If you’re interested in real local activities, then this tour is perfect for you. We will pick you up at your accommodation. From there we will transfer the group to Caleta Portales, a local fisherman’s cove, where the fishermen are reeling in their day’s catch, and they sell fish fresh off their boats. We will take a few minutes to walk around and then proceed to feed the Sea Lions. The tour continues with us heading towards Argentina Avenue to take the Trolley Bus. We’ll get off at Plaza Victoria, and take a walk through the former, “Grand Avenue” of Valparaíso. From there we will go to “La Empanada Famosa” for one of their famous empanadas, which you can have with either a beer or a soft drink. We’ll head up to the Concepción and Cerro Alegre hills for a short walking tour, surrounded by churches, the century old houses, and vibrant colors, along with astounding views that this city has to offer. After this, hunger will most likely strike, and we’ll head to one of the city’s best local restaurants for a local meal (specialty is seafood, but they do have other food as well). After lunch, we'll descend towards Plaza Sotomayor, and if you feel like it, you can board a boat, to take a ride around the bayside. We’ll continue to Serrano and the historical neighborhoods, where we can have some beer or maybe a local drink. Schedule: Every Day from 09:00 - 15:00 Includes: - Bilingual, professional guide - Mineral Water - Lunch at a traditional place in Valparaíso (with beverage included) - Tickets for funiculars - Trolley Buses - Local Snacks - Informative and thorough walk through Historical Quarters, Fish market, Fruit Market, Parks and Plazas.
