The park was filled with lush gardens and green space, it was a place for the community to come and enjoy a day together. In 1902, Leap-the-Dips roller coaster was built and has been operating ever since, making it the oldest wooden roller coaster in the world. Lakemont Park made several transitions throughout its years. From botanical gardens, to community pool, to amusement park, and more. Through the years, Lakemont has reinvented itself to meet the needs of Blair County and the surrounding areas. Our Future Lakemont Park strives to be a park for the community. While the park retains the history and tradition of its roots, it has under- gone changes to transform from amusement park to a recreation, attraction and special event park, with ample green space. Leap-the-Dips still stands and is operational, with the intention to bring in roller coaster fanatics from all over the world. We continue to make updates to the park, such as new batting cages, an activity pool, and miniature golf courses. The paddle boats and go-karts have been upgraded with new equipment to entertain our guests. With the ultimate intention to promote togetherness, Lakemont Park makes an effort to bring in events and local organizations to support causes and build community. For over 125 years, Lakemont Park continues to be a cornerstone in Blair County and will continue to be for many years to come! 3 LakeMonster Splash PoolPool Paddle Boats Restrooms Train 5B Group Picnic Changing Area 6B Lockers 4B Pavilions 6A 5A 4A C2 Trolley 3B Treehouse House 3A Take-Out 2B Treehouse Dippy’s 2A Treehouse Sweet & Salty Tin Lizzy Waterpark Ticket 1B Antique Autos Activity Pool Ticket Sales Leap the Dips 1A Sales Roller Coaster Duck & Fish Food Indoor Space Concert Green Lawn Stage Restrooms 9 The Casino Skyliner Restrooms 8B Playground Roller Coaster Lakeside Walking Paths 8A (2) Sand Café Volleyball Courts The Village Cornhole at Lakemont Park Ticket Pits Sales 7B 7A Motorway Motorway Park 10 Cool-Off Entrance (4) Keystone Falls Go-Karts Concert Basketball Mini-Golf Ticket Stage Sales Courts (4) 4x4 Mini Batting Monster Trucks Cages Ticket Sales Lil’ Leaper Kiddie Roller Coaster Green Lawn Rabbit Hole Mini-Golf Galactic Ice MAP KEY Attractions/Rides Food & Drinks Parking Garage Waterpark Restrooms Restrooms Park Entrance Recreation Event Buildings Mother’s Comfort Parking Lot Mother’s Comfort Station Ticket Sales Main Park Office Entrance 5 CONCERTS & SPECIAL EVENTS CONCERTS & SPECIAL EVENTS FIREWORKS DISPLAYS Lakemont Park is a special events venue.
