Glossary of Toys Anal Beads / Pearls Glossary of Toys Anal Beads / Pearls: Anal beads are similar to a pearl-like necklace, although the "pearls" are about the size of small grapes. When these beads are lubricated well, inserted and then withdrawn from the anus, they stimulate the anal sphincter, giving one intense pleasure. Ben-Wa Balls/Vibro Balls: A pair of plum-sized spheres meant to be inserted into the vagina to awaken the woman's sexuality by strengthening the PC muscle of the lower pelvis. Many women typically use this to strengthen the PC muscle. They can also be placed in the vagina and while the woman rocks, the balls move into one another in the vagina providing a "musical" sensation. Blindfold: Using a blindfold allows the users the opportunity to exchange "power" in sexual play. I t also evokes the users to use their other senses. Blow-up Dolls: If you find yourself a lone, a vinyl friend might just be what you need. Blow-up dolls can come complete with a vagina, rectum, penis, and mouth. "Not tonight, I have a headache," becomes a thing of the past. Bullet: The bullet is s tiny vibrator that is inserted right into the vagina or anus. It is about the size of a fat thumb. Butt plugs also can inflate or vibrate to add to the pleasure of having a "full" rectum. Chastity Belts: Leather or metal belts used to prevent genital penetration. Clitoral Stimulators: These are toys designed to come in direct contact with the clitoris and erotically stimulate it. There are a variety of clitoral stimulators that are available and they include, the strap-on "butterflies," classic dildos or vibrators with extra clitoral nubs, and penis rings with clitoral extensions. Cock Ring / Erection Ring: This is a rubber donut-shaped device or leather strap that can tightly encircle the erect penis, helping to maintain its erect state. Rings can be used for aesthetic enhancement, but typically they are used to help maintain a firm erection. Dildo: A dildo is a penis shaped object that can be inserted into the vagina, mouth, or anus. They come in a variety of textures, sizes, and colors. Some also have the ability to vibrate, adding more than "fullness" to the vagina or rectum. Double Dildo/ Double Dong: This is a double headed dildo that has two penis-like heads. They can be used vaginally by two women or anally by men or women. (Or a couple) Extenders / PPA's: Imagine a condom with a 2 to 3-inch dildo on the end. Extenders elongate the erect penis, allowing deeper insertion. Flogger: This is similar to a whip however it has more than one strand of leather on the end of it thus allowing the area being touched to be wider. French Tickler: French ticklers can provide extra stimulation for many parts of the body: the vaginal lips during intercourse; the clitoris if the penis slides up against it; the mouth, lips, and tongue during oral sex; the anus during anal intercourse; or the breasts when they are pressed together and the penis slides between them. It is merely a condom with tiny nubs on it, which add to the sexual experience. G-Spot Stimulator: Dildo or vibrator that has a bent tip which when placed in the vagina stimulates the G-spot. Gag: Made from leather or cloth, gags are used to fill the mouth which eliminates talking, but not sounds of sexual pleasure. Used for BSMD play. Harness: A plastic or leather device worn around the hips and pelvis which then holds a strap-on dildo or butt plug in place. Can be used by men or women. Lubricants: Emollients (oils, lotions, and creams) that when applied to the skin or to a sex toy can increases its slipperiness. Lubricants enhance the comfort and pleasure of masturbation, vaginal intercourse, sex-toy use, and especially anal sex. Mask: A face covering which is worn to heighten erotic excitement in S&M and bondage play. Made of cloth or leather. Massage Oils: Scented lotions and oils that are used in massage therapy to relax and add to sensual play. Massager: A euphemism for "vibrator." Sold primarily to promote muscle massage, however their uses are far more popular in sexual play. Masturbator: These can also be called a "sleeve" or "penis sleeves." Masturbators are sex toys used by men to enhance masturbation. Most are crafted to look like vaginas, and an added vibrator in the toy adds variation. Nipple Clamps / Nipple Clips: Nipple toys can be worn and enjoyed by both women and men. Some nipple clips screw on, the screw mechanism allowing you or a lover to provide just the right amount of pressure. Others look like hoop earrings and can be worn discreetly under clothing so just you and your honey know they're on. Some come wired for attachment to a vibrator for intense erotic sensations. And others are linked by a chain for decoration, or to lead the wearer around by the breasts. Penis Pump: A mechanical device that creates a vacuum-like suction around the penis.
