Anal Sex an Informative Guide by Bedroom Kandi AN INTRODUCTION TO ANAL SEX AN INFORMATIVE GUIDE BY BEDROOM KANDI Anal sex encompasses a variety of sexual acts involving the anus and rectum. These can include anal fingering, analingus (oral-anal sex, sometimes called “rimming”), anal insertion (using an object like a strap-on or other toy) and anal intercourse (penis-in-anus sex). Anal sex can be enjoyed by individuals of any gender, and any orientation. Everyone has a back door, after all! But it requires preparation, care, and patience to make it pleasurable. Communication is Key! No surprise butt-sex. Always check in with your partner, talk things through, and 36% communicate about whether you’re Of American Women both on board for trying anal. Butt Stuff: Myth vs Truth MYTH: There’s poop in there! TRUTH: Feces isn’t stored in the rectum -- it just passes through during a bowel movement. Clean out the trace amounts left there before anal sex, and you’ll find it’s not that dirty! MYTH: You don’t need a condom during anal sex. TRUTH: While anal sex alone won’t lead to pregnancy, there is a high risk of STI/STD transmission, so a condom is never a bad idea. MYTH: Only homosexual men enjoy receiving anal sex. TRUTH: Anyone can enjoy receiving anal sex (if properly prepared), and it has no link to sexual orientation! There are a lot of nerve endings around the anus and rectum, which can be stimulated pleasurably for both sexes. Men can also enjoy the stimulation of the prostate via anal penetration. MYTH: It will hurt. TRUTH: Anal sex doesn’t have to hurt if you’re relaxed, prepped, and ready to enjoy it. Anal isn’t for everyone, but it doesn’t need to be painful. ow! MYTH: My anus will get all stretched out and damaged! TRUTH: Any sex, done improperly and without preparation and lubrication, can cause injury. But the anus, like the vagina, is quite elastic. Kegel exercises and exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor will help the anal sphincter retain its strength. www.bedroomkandi.com* ©2017 Bedroom Kandi BE SAFE It is always good policy to use a condom or other barrier protection (dental dams, latex gloves) during anal sex to prevent the spread of disease and infection. Anal intercourse may not result in pregnancy, but the anal tissue is fragile and tears can easily lead to the spread of STIs. NEVER switch from anal sex to vaginal sex (with a penis, hand, or toy) without first taking a break to wash, change a condom, etc. to avoid transferring bacteria from the anus to the genitals - Front to back, not back to front! PREPARATION GET CLEAN! Have a bowel movement, and be sure to wash thoroughly with soap and warm water around the anus before anal sex. An internal rinse isn’t necessary, but if you’re anxious about hygiene, a small warm water enema can help you feel more thoroughly clean. You can put down a towel on the bed if you’re worried about the sheets! LUBE UP! This is the MOST important step. Unlike the vagina, the anus doesn’t produce its own lubrication. Anal sex without lubrication will result in tearing of the fragile tissue of the rectum and be very painful. ALWAYS use lube, and use A LOT. Silicone lubes like Bedroom Kandi’s SLEEK are a great choice for anal play, as they won’t dry out as fast as water-based lubricants. If you’re using toys, try SILK, a hybrid silicone-water lube that won’t damage silicone toys. GREAT for anal toy use. OKAY for anal play. NOTE: Oil-based lubricants are not recommended for anal or vaginal use, and can cause condom breakage. FOREPLAY: You need to be in the right mindset to relax and enjoy anal sex. Plenty of foreplay to increase arousal will help, including massage. Gently massaging and playing with the outside of the anus can be pleasurable all on its own! www.bedroomkandi.com ©2017 Bedroom Kandi GETTING STARTED RELAX! GO SLOW! GET IN POSITION! Your anus might not be a tight pucker right away and take a little while to close up firmly, but give it time. • Art of Anal Masturbation
Jan 07, 2014 12:26 +08 Art of Anal Masturbation Anal play can be an enjoyable, stimulating and intensely erotic form of sexual exploration, both for men and women. For novices, however, the tools and preparation can seem a little daunting without some guidance. Thankfully, there's a wealth of sex toys, techniques and lubricant varieties out there made specifically to make anal masturbation more exciting and pleasurable, if you know how to use them. Here are some helpful tips to get you - and possibly your partner too! - started on the path to backdoor bliss: Anal Douche: The process of douching involves filling a specially designed anal douche or bulb with comfortably warm water (be sure to test it first to make sure it isn't too hot!) and gently squeezing it into the anus via an insertable tube or stem. This "flushing" action helps clean the user inside and out for worry free play, and many find it fun to incorporate douching as foreplay by itself. Always follow the manufacturer's directions when using a douche, and feel free to partake no matter what your gender or gender expression - it's safe for everyone to try. Anal Sex Toys: Using a dildo to stimulate the anus and anal cavity can be incredibly fulfilling, but be sure to use a plug, vibrator or dildo that has a "flanged" base - a base that is wider than the part being inserted - to ensure easy and safe retrieval when the fun is done. Silicone toys are an excellent choice for anal sex play, as they can be boiled or bleached in a 10% solution to keep them sanitary between uses.

  • Bowel Function Anatomy
BOWEL FUNCTION ANATOMY Most of America gives little thought to bowel control. However, bowel control is actually a complex process involving the coordination of many different muscles and nerves. The bowel is considered to be a part of the digestive or gastrointestinal system. It is designed to help the body absorb nutrients and fluids from the foods we eat and drink. After taking out everything the body needs, the bowel then expels the leftover waste. The beginning of the bowel is the small intestine, sometimes referred to as the small bowel. This is where the useful nutrients are absorbed from what you eat. The small bowel delivers the waste to the colon, or large bowel. The colon is a 5-6 foot long muscular tube that delivers stool to the rectum. As the stool moves through the colon, the fluids are removed and absorbed into the body. The consistency of the stool is dependent upon many things, including how long the stool sits in the colon, how much of the water has been absorbed from the waste, and the amount of fiber and fluids in your diet. Stool consistency can vary from hard lumps to mushy to very loose, watery stool. The best and easiest consistency of stool is soft, like toothpaste; this consistency may be attained by adding fiber to your diet. Fiber helps move waste through the colon because it is indigestible by the human body. In other words, fiber adds ‘bulk’ to the stool. It is important to eat a diet high in fiber, however, most Americans lack fiber in their diet.

Women’s Experiences with Sex Position Decisions in Heterosexual Relationships in Ghana Daniel Yaw Fiaveh Centre for Men’s Health and Sex Studies [email protected] Introduction The paper is about Ghanaian women and men’s cultural beliefs about sex positions and women’s sexual agency thereof. In countries in Africa, dominant ideologies of masculinity are seen as a threat to women’s practices of sexual negotiations. Based on the narratives of 20 women and 16 men in a suburb of Accra, the present study highlights Ghanaian women’s sexual agentic capacity by investigating the factors that trigger women and men’s sex position decision making in Ghana. Sex positions form important aspects of human sexuality and the study which is located in issues of gender, sexuality, and cultural beliefs brings to light knowledge on intimate partner relationships especially in relation to women's sexual and reproductive choices. Sex positions are those positions that men and women perform during sexual intercourse. There are different sex positions and Hooper (2000), for example, illustrates several types of positions (such as the yawning position, the widely opened position, acrobatic position, erotic sculptures, the elephant posture, side-by-side, rear entry ‘penetration’, and so on) which women and men engage with during sex. Sex positions stimulate sexual pleasure. Although a union between a woman and a man is intended as a source of procreation, it also provides a reliable means for the satisfaction of sexual desires (Amidu et al., 2011; McFadden, 2003). Studies (e.g. Bizimana, 2010; Carroll, 2007; Ratele, 2008) show that sex positions offer partners the opportunity to enhance sexual satisfaction.
