This is an ongoing group, meaning that all LINEC members may continue after this term. Before returning to films from plays, we follow up with three other Japanese films: Keisuke Kinoshita's Twenty-Four Eyes (1954), Kon Ichikawa's The Burmese Harp (1956), and Juzo Itami's Tampopo (1985). Films are viewed individually prior to the discussion, and can usually be found on YouTube or on Amazon Simon Center, New England College Pen and ink by Fran Philippe Prime. There is occasionally a free one but they are typically three or four dollars.
