The principal role of the Council is pastoral planning. Pastoral planning is meant to ensure that the mission and vision of the diocese and parish guide the community into the future. CLOSED MONDAY Pastoral planning involves: Tuesday & Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. developing a working vision for the parish for the following 3 to 5 years; Wednesday discerning the will of God for this parish community by identifying, assessing and prioritizing 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. pastoral needs; Thursday setting goals and developing objectives in order to meet those needs; and, 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. recommending courses of action to the pastor or pastoral team members.
