“Om Sri Lakshmi Narashimhan Nahama” Valmiki Ramayana – Sundara Kanda – Chapter 42 Ravana Informed of Hanuman’s Intrusion Summary Seeing the devastation caused to the pleasant grove by Hanuma the female-demons ask Seetha who that great monkey was and wherefore he has come and talked to her. Seetha replies that she knows nothing of him. Some of the female-demons go to Ravana and report to him that the pleasant grove attached to the gynaeceum has been destroyed by a mighty monkey and that the monkey went to Seetha and talked to her also earlier to the devastation. They also report that Seetha expressed her ignorance about him. Then, Ravana gets angry and sends some demons called Kinkaras to catch hold of Hanuma. Eighty thousand Kinkaras rush towards Hanuma to catch him. But Hanuma, with his might, kills all Kinkaras with an iron rod. Getting to know of the killings, Ravana again sends Jambumali, the son of Prahasta to catch hold of Hanuma. Subrantas Km. 12, 5 Simpang Baru Pekanbaru Telp/Fax. 0761-63277 Abstract Athirah movie is a film that lifts the reality of polygamous life, polygamy is an issue that is still a debate in the community. This is quite interesting because polygamy is still something that causes pros and cons in Indonesian society. Different from previous polygamy- themed films, this film is a true story of a wife's struggle as well as the mother of Vice President Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla. In theory, many women have expressed disagreement on polygamous marriages, but in practice women are always in a cornered position, have no choice and are difficult to bid or even have no ability to reject men's desire for polygamy. Starting from this, some Indonesian filmmakers view the interesting polygamy phenomenon to be lifted into a film masterpiece. This study aims to determine the impact of polygamy for wives and children represented in Athirah films viewed from the level of reality, level of representation and ideology level. This study used qualitative methods analyzed by semiotic analysis of John Fiske. Subjects and objects in this study is the observation of the audio and visual display in the scenes of the film Athirah with data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and literature study. The results of this study show there is a polygamy representation in the Athirah film. -

Metode penelitian menggunakan metode pendekatan analisis wacana bersifat kualitatif, Dalam analisis wacana model Teun A. Van Dijk ini meneliti tentang mencari struktur makro teks tentang tematik. sedangkan superstruktur dibahas dalam skematik, dan struktur mikro teks yaitu dari segi semantik, sintaksis, stilistik dan retoris. Hasil penelitian menunjukan yaitu secara struktur makro dalam novel ini disusun dalam tema kesabaran, dan ketangguhan seorang perempuan bernama Athirah dalam menghadapi cobaan hidup. Secara superstruktur Alberthiene Endah membuat novel ini dengan alur maju mundur, ada alur yang menceritakan masa lampau, namun tetap mudah dimengerti oleh pembaca. Sedangkan secara struktur mikro Alberthiene Endah menggunakan bahasa yang cukup luas dan bahasa kiasan atau perumpamaan. Bentuk kalimat yang digunakan kebanyakan menggunakan bentuk kalimat aktif. One of the uncles discussed about two games, supposed to be played on the field day. Some students were called on stage to demonstrate the games. Class We stated the class with three Omkars, Shanti Mantra and Before Study Prayers. In Ramayana, we finish Sundara Kanda. We started the story where Hanuman-ji was sitting on Shimshupa tree whose branches are very close to Ashoka tree, under which Sita-ji was standing. Hanumanji begin His recital….. There was a great king named Dasaratha……he had four sons; the oldest is Rama, who is the best among the men. He is the protector of Dharma and devoted to truth. He went to forest with His wife and brother Lakshmana and killed several rakshasas….In Janasthana he killed Khara Dushana along with an army of 14 thousand rakshasas. Ravana kidnapped Sitaji, in search of her, Shree Rama made new friends like Sugreeva, who promised to help in finding Sita-ji. Sugeeva sent vaanaras in all directions to search for Sitaji. I am one of them. An eagle named Sampati, brother of Jatayu, told me Sita ji is in Lanka. I crossed the wide sea and landed in this city. Sitaji who has been described to me by Shree Rama has been seen by me. Hanumanji sat silent after this. Sita-ji looked up and a bit frightened when she saw a little monkey. Hanumanji came down and said Devi, I have been sent by Shree Rama to find out how are you? He gave her Shree Rama’s ring, so that she can trust him. -
