It produces nearly 800-1000 films per year. Out of which regional language films also add their contribution to national and international scenario. Bollywood is the name of Hindi cinema, Tollywood is of Telugu cinema, Molly wood is of Tamil cinema, Sandal wood is of Kannada cinema etc. Celebrated its 75th year in 2009 and moving towards century. Kannada film industry has its own history from 1934 Saathi sulochana to Puttakkana Highway-2012 industry has seen many up and downs. It has its audience across all over the globe. Industry has the great talented directors, actors, novel writers like late Dr. Rajakumar and Mr. V. K. Murthy have been honored by prestigious Dada Saheb Palake awarded, the director like late Mr. Puttanna Kanagal, late Lakshmi Narayana Rao, Mr. Girish Kasaravalli, Late Mr. G. V. Iyer, Actor/director Jnanapeeta award Dr. Girish Karnad, Late Shankarna, etc Have contributed their achievements and laid milestone in film industry. Master Kishan’s Care of Footpath and Film Shanthi received in the book of Gunnies Award. Observing the film trends from past 1934-2011 it can be conclude that the early film age was about theater oriented content, 1940-50 was on mythology and social oriented subjects, 50-60s were the devotional subjects, 60-70s were based on Kannada Unification stories, 70-80s were on aggressive and love stories, Women oriented majority based on Novels works.80-90s on mixed western culture with crime stories, 90-2000 expose of half nudity and double meaning in dialogue and songs, 2001- 2011 half nudity, crime, violence, vulgarity themes. -

In India, the idea of inclusive education is not new, and is consistent with the key principles underpinning the Indian constitution. It has been promoted by a number of educational thinkers of modern India such as Vivekananda, Aurobindo, Gandhi, Ambedkar, Azad and Tagore. However, the idea of inclusive education has been unevenly and inadequately implemented in Indian schools, which have remained largely socially segregated. There are of course major exceptions, with some schools valiantly seeking to realize social inclusion. One such school is in Kolkata, which has been nationally and globally celebrated as an example of best practice. The main aim of this thesis is to examine the initiative of inclusive educational reform that this school represents. It analyses the school’s understanding of inclusive education; provides an account of how the school promoted its achievements, not only within its own community but also around the world; and critically assesses the extent to which the initiatives are sustainable in the long term. -

Across nations we find different systems of government which fundamentally take care of what lies in their geographical boundaries and the human lives living within it. The question is not about what the common-man feels and how they survive, but it is about their liberty and representation. There are various forms of government such as Monarchy, Republic, Unitary State, Tribalism, Feudalism, Communism, Totalitarianism, Theocracy, Presidential, Socialism, Plutocracy, Oligarchy, Dictatorship, Meritocracy, Federal Republic, Republican Democracy, Despotism, Aristocracy and Democracy. The history of India is about ten thousand years and India is one of the oldest civilizations. The democratic system establishes the fundamental rights of human beings. Democracy also takes care of their representation and their voice. The rise of Buddhism in India paved the way for human liberty and their suppression from monarchs and monarchy. The teachings of Buddha directly and indirectly strengthen the democratic values in Indian subcontinent. The rise of Dr. Ambedkar on the socio-political stage of this nation ignited the suppressed minds and gave a new hope to them for equality and equity. -

A Faculty Member, Department of History School of Distance Education University of Kerala, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar was one of the most remarkable men of his time, and the story of his life is the story of his exceptional talent and outstanding force of character which helped him to succeed in overcoming some of the most formidable obstacles that an unjust and oppressive society has ever placed in the way of an individual. His contribution to the cause of Dalits has undoubtedly been the most significant event in 20th century India. Ambedkar was a man whose genius extended over diverse issues of human affairs. Born to Mahar parents, he would have been one of the many untouchables of his times, condemned to a life of suffering and misery, had he not doggedly overcome the oppressive circumstances of his birth to rise to pre-eminence in India‘s public life. The centre of life of Ambedkar was his devotion to the liberation of the backward classes and he struggled to find a satisfactory ideological expression for that liberation. He won the confidence of the- untouchables and became their supreme leader. To mobilise his followers he established organisations such as the Bahishkrit Hitkarni Sabha, Independent Labour Party and later All India Scheduled Caste Federation. He led a number of temple-entry Satyagrahas, organized the untouchables, established many educational institutions and propagated his views through newspapers like the 'Mooknayak', 'Bahishkrit Bharat' and 'Janata'. -

These films actualize region as a cinematic imaginary through its authenticity markers – caste/ist practices explicitly, which earlier films constructed as a ‘trope’. The paper uses the concept of Heterotopias to analyse the recurrence of spectacle spaces in the construction of Madurai, and the production of caste in contemporary films. In this pursuit, it interrogates the implications of such spatial discourses.
