The goal: social integration in any part of the world, through an education in values offered by sport. The Real Madrid Foundation carries out its social work both inside and outside Spain, to the point where it has built up an extensive network of social sports schools in more than 70 countries. In every case, the programme of activities provided by these centres, in collaboration with local partners (associations, foundations and public and private institutions), promotes the social development through sporting values of boys and girls between seven and 17 years old who live at risk of social exclusion. These values are respect, team spirit, equality, motivation, personal autonomy, effort, commitment, self-esteem, health and solidarity. Florentino Pérez in Morocco and Panama The Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia… Year after year sees the opening of new social sports schools. Among the most recent, it is worth highlighting the inauguration of the social sports school in Mohammédia (Morocco) whose activities benefit 70 children from the city's most vulnerable areas. The collaboration agreement was signed by Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid; Mustapha Bakkoury, president of the Fatema Foundation; and Jamal Ba-Amer, president of the Samir Foundation, 4 04-06 Reportaje 49 ING.indd 4 3/6/15 15:01 Florentino Pérez during his visit to the social sports school in Morocco. 04-06 Reportaje 49 ING.indd 5 3/6/15 15:01 Report at an event which concluded with a group photo Loreno Castillo de Varela, first lady of the Republic and an exchange of gifts. of Panama and honorary president of the Fundación On the other side of the Atlantic, Florentino Amigos del Real Madrid en Panamá. The slope, a suburban rail embankment, had been undermined by rabbit burrows and had suff ered weathering erosion. Both issues were compromising the integrity of the slope, and resulted in a requirement for protecting it to prevent slip and further damage. The works were carried out by TRAGSA on behalf of ADIF. In preparation for the installation, all vegetation was removed from the slope section to be lined. Bulk rolls of CC5TM were then delivered to the site and deployed vertically down the slope, starting above a small drainage channel which was created prior to installation to divert rainwater. The bottom edge were captured in an anchor trench and secured using ground pegs, and the top edge then covered with a longitudinal length of CC, overlapping by 100mm and secured using screws. The top edge was then captured in another anchor trench before both were backfi lled to prevent undermining and ingress. Following installation, hydration was given. 600m2 of CC5TM were installed in a single day and without any need for line possession, allowing trains to run as usual. *Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat www ® +44 (0) 345 680 1908 [email protected] www.concretecanvas.com The information contained herein is offered free of charge and is, to the best of our knowledge, accurate.

Buenos días, Queridos socios y queridos compromisarios, bienvenidos a nuestra Ciudad Real Madrid. The 37-year-old captained a Basque Country team that also featured fellow Spain internationals Inaki Williams, Inigo Martinez and Asier Illarramendi against Venezuela - the world's 32nd best side. As they are not an 'official' team, they are not part of Fifa's rankings - but they still won 4-2 in front of a crowd of 15,000 at Alaves' Mendizorrotza stadium https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/45834955 Page 1 of 5 Basque Country: The Spain internationals playing for a different team - BBC Sport 11/11/18, 717 AM in Vitoria-Gasteiz. "To be able to become official, it is necessary to show that you have a team capable of competing in international tournaments," said coach Mikel Etxarri. The squad is selected from players born in the autonomous region in northern Spain, as well as the neighbouring regions of Navarre and the French Basque Country. The Basque Country has a large degree of self-rule, its own language and cultural traditions, and Basque Football Federation general secretary Kepa Allica said Friday's match, their first since December 2016, was "more than a game". Players can play for both Spain and the Basque Country because the latter is not affiliated with Fifa or Uefa, but that is their ultimate goal.

EuroBasket 2007 Team Manual Dear Friends, On behalf of the EuroBasket 2007 Organising Committee, I would like to welcome you to this championship, which will be held for the third time in Spain, and which coincides with the surge of basketball in our country following the Spanish national team’s victory in last year’s World Championships in Japan. It is an honour to receive the world basketball family once again in a country that has already shown its commitment to the dissemination and development of this sport. You will be able to see very shortly the reason that led us to adopt the main message of this great championship: we’re all playing on the home court.
