DCA’s partner TWUC distributed masks, sanitisers to 42 farmers groups, 1 cooperative and 2 dairy collection centres, which are associated with its AADHAR project. Flex boards with five sets of COVID-19 messages were also handed over to 11 ward offices, 10 health posts, 1 covid hospital, 1 Rural Municipality, 1 cooperative and 2 dairy collection centres. Calendars with covid messages were also handed over to 951 community people for awareness raising.

Under Danmarks Indsamling funded AADHAR project, being implemented by TWUC-Bardiya and DWRF-Kailali, several handwashing stations are planned to be installed in strategic locations. As part of this, DWRF has handed over hand washing stations to be placed in 11 areas of Gauriganga and Kailari Rural Municipality, and sanitation and hygiene support to isolation centres in these two locations. Altogether 3,500 individuals will benefit from the handwashing stations and 500 people from the materials in the centres.
