Details: Michael had been having trouble with a group of kids from another school and was recently beat up. Michael was sent home from his school due to his injuries from a fight. Michael left his residence a couple days later to return to school after he and his mother had an argument and was never seen or heard from again. Michael’s mother believed he might have gone to see his father in Washington at the time but that didn’t occur.

Location Last Seen: Kathleen was last seen by her step mother Elda Stevens on 03‐03‐1973 at approximately 1200 hours at their residence at 1512 Keko St in Oroville.

Details: Kathleen was reported missing by Elda on 03‐03‐1973 after an argument between the two of them took place. Kathleen was seen in the Oroville area after she was reported missing. Kathleen was living with and hanging out with her friends. Kathleen was associated with and possibly dating Dale William Kirk at the time. Kathleen disappeared and hasn’t been seen or heard from by her family and friends. Several attempts have been made to locate Kathleen’s remains from information provided to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office in this case. Kathleen’s remains still haven’t been located. Foul play is suspected.

Details: The victim was located inside of the train car on a mattress deceased. The victim was bludgeoned in the head with an unknown heavy object and robbed for his personal belongings.

Location Last Seen: Dena was last seen on 03‐15‐1976 at approximately 1430 hours, by David Brogna at her residence at 1101 E. Lassen Avenue.

Details: Dena resided with David and left their residence with a person named Mike Simmons. Dena is still listed in the missing persons data base (MUPS). At the time of her disappearance David believed that foul play may be involved. To the Sheriff’s Offices’ knowledge Dena hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Location Last Seen: Leaving Rusty Jacks in the early morning hours after finishing her work shift at the Card Room.

Details: Essie worked as a waitress and a bartender at the “Card Room” in Oroville in 1978. She was last seen leaving work at Rusty Jacks bar on the morning of 02‐13‐1978 at approximately 0200 hours. Essie was en route home where she lived in the Honcut area. Essie was driving her brown 1975 Oldsmobile Tornado. Essie didn’t make it home and hasn’t been heard or seen from since. Essie’s vehicle was located wrecked in a ditch on Palermo‐Honcut Rd a short distance from her house on 02‐13‐1978. Her personal belongings and clothing were located outside of her vehicle on the ground. Essie was not located at the scene of the and is still missing. Foul play is suspected.

Details: Deborah’s husband Marvin reported her missing on 11‐21‐1978. Marvin left their residence and said Deborah was at home when he left on the morning of 11‐19‐1978. Deborah had prior history of leaving the house for short periods of time but always remained in contact with her children. Deborah has not been seen or heard from since and her remains haven’t ever been found. Foul play is believed to be involved.

Details: Charles was reported missing on May 23 1981. Charles’s brother Lloyd Anderson was most likely the last person that saw him alive before he went missing. Charles had borrowed a friend’s 1977 blue Ford truck which was located high centered on a couple large rocks off of Highway 32 just east of Humboldt Rd in Chico on 05‐23‐1981. Blood was located inside of the vehicle and holes from a shotgun blast were also located in the cab of the vehicle. Charles has not been seen or heard from since and his remains haven’t ever been found. Foul play is suspected.

Location Last Seen: Skeletal remains were located in the woods South of the Ord Ferry Bridge.

Details: Two hunters located older skeletal remains in a wooded area lying in a grassy area that had been recently burned. It was undetermined if the remains had any relationship to a marijuana grow in the area at the time. There was an older model (1963‐1964) blue car seen in and around the area. Paperwork was also located near the remains with the words “Texas Parks & Wildlife” on it. Foul play is suspected in this case.

Details: Nancy was reported missing on 12‐19‐1983 by her brother John Penner. Several people have been interviewed in this case. Nancy has not been seen or heard from by her family and friends since October of 1983. Nancy’s remains haven’t ever been found and foul play is believed to be involved.

Clothing Description: A clothing description wasn’t available, but Rhonda was said to be wearing two turquoise rings and a silver chain with a unicorn pendant when she was last seen.

Location Last Seen: Rhonda was last seen on 02‐10‐1985 getting into a car in Oroville with Odis “Buck” Garrett, a member of the Hells Angels who is currently serving several sentences for other homicides, drug manufacturing and distribution charges. Rhonda called a person named John Woolen on 02‐11‐1985 and that was the last time anyone has heard from Rhonda.

Details: Rhonda was 19 years old at the time of her disappearance. Garrett was supposed to take Rhonda to the Klamath Falls, Oregon area so she could flee the state to avoid a court appearance in a criminal matter. Garrett may have taken Rhonda to the Vallejo area where he owned a house at the time and had associates in that area. Rhonda’s boyfriend, John Woolen, was an associate of the Hells Angels and a methamphetamine cook for Garrett and the Hells Angels. Although Woolen was not suspected of involvement in the disappearance of Rhonda Yocom, it is believed that he may be responsible for the disappearance of Paget Barr, a subsequent girlfriend (Refer to missing person case on Paget Barr). Rhonda Yocom was initially described as being from Asian decent in the original missing persons report, she is actually Pilipino. Rhonda has never been heard from again and it is believed that she is the victim of a homicide.

Location Last Seen: Paget was last seen on 07‐26‐1986 at the Oroville bus station by Randy Worthington.

Details: Paget was residing at the Dahls Motel in Oroville at the time of her disappearance. Paget was reported missing by her mother Beloh Barr on 08‐01‐1986. During the time of Paget’s disappearance she was seen with her boyfriend John Woolen. Paget had two young children whom she would have never left behind. Randy stated that a white male subject with a full beard arrived at the bus station and picked Paget up in a maroon colored 260Z Datsun. The description of the subject and vehicle matched that of John Woolen. John Woolen was known as a methamphetamine cook and an associate of the Hells Angels. Paget told Randy she was going to get money. Paget never returned to the bus station. Paget has not been heard or seen from since. Paget’s remains haven’t ever been found. Foul play is suspected.

Location Last Seen: The human remains were recovered near the area of Bloomer Mountain and Encina Grande in Berry Creek on 11‐28‐1986.

Details: Residents in the area located a human skull near Bloomer Mountain and Encina Grande. During a more thorough search of the area more human remains were recovered. The victim received one gunshot wound to the head. The victim was determined to be a white male approximately 5’06” to 5’08” tall. The victim had been deceased 1 to 10 years before the remains were recovered. The victim was possibly right handed and suffered from a back ailment on his right side.

Details: Graydon was reported missing on 06‐29‐1987 by Robert Destefanis. Robert arrived at Graydon’s residence to visit. Graydon’s residence was locked and secured. Graydon wasn’t contacted or located. Clothing was located in the woods several yards away. Graydon hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Details: Archie was reported missing by his mother Marjorie Puccinelli on 04‐28‐1989. Marjorie said she hadn’t seen or spoken to Archie for several months and was concerned about him. During the telephone call with Archie on 07‐11‐1988, Archie told Marjorie that people were after him. Archie called his mother on a daily basis before this incident. Archie has not been seen or heard from since and his remains haven’t ever been found. Foul play may be involved.

Details: Clyde was reported missing on 01‐02‐1990 by a close friend Jerry Young. Jerry said Clyde left Oroville en‐route to Jackson Wyoming to sell a ranch that he owned. Clyde was approximately one month overdue returning to Oroville. Clyde hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Shirt had the word Arkansas on it w/a picture of an Arkansas Razorback mascot, black work boots (size 9W) w/very worn soles. Gold Timex watch with a black nylon band, silver folding knife w/flower design on both sides. Location Last Seen: Remains found and recovered near the railroad tracks 1 ¼ miles west of Pulga in Yankee Hill on 04‐29‐1991.

Details: Two fishermen located the human remains near the bank of the Feather River approximately 75‐100 feet below Union Pacific Bridge #237.6 near Pulga. It appeared the remains had been there for several weeks due to the stage of decomposition. Several items and clothing were located on and around the unidentified human remains. The decedent was wearing blue jeans, a dark brown leather belt with a square metal buckle, a blue waist length jacket (Brand: Powder Run), A long sleeve cotton shirt grey or blue in color with red sleeves. The shirt had the word Arkansas on it with a picture of an Arkansas Razorback mascot, there was a pair of black work boots (size 9W) with very worn soles, a red handkerchief was found in the left rear pant pocket, a yellow gold colored Timex wrist watch with a black nylon band, a silver folding knife with a flower design on both sides, a red 5 inch long pocket comb, and a grapefruit flavored can of soda (Brand: Craigmont).

Details: At the time of Tracy’s disappearance she was living with Rick Pyle and her two children at the above address. Rick stated Tracy left his residence on 11‐16‐1991 at approximately 0200 hours. Tracy left her two young children at the residence with Rick. Tracy didn’t return to the residence. Tracy hasn’t been seen or heard from since and her remains haven’t been located. Foul play is suspected.

Details: Brenda was reported missing by Joanne Andrews on 08‐22‐1994. Joanne was concerned for Brenda and worried that something bad happened to her. Brenda was a resident of Oroville at the time and resided at 703 Oro Dam Blvd. Brenda’s clothing and her vehicle were located in Yuba County. Brenda hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Foul play may be involved.

Update: On 08‐06‐2013 the Butte County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and provided with information regarding Brenda Tucker’s remains being located in 2001. Brenda’s remains were located in Yuba County near Brownsville in 2001 and verified through DNA. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office conducted a homicide investigation in 2001 where they arrested Herman Lee Hobbs for the of Brenda Tucker in 1994. The case against Hobbs was later dismissed by a judge in Yuba County for insufficient evidence.

Details: Thomas was murdered by Dennis Oates in 1995 in Oroville, Ca. Dennis was arrested and convicted for the murder of Thomas Trotter. Thomas’s remains haven’t been recovered to this day. Location Last Seen: Vicki was last seen at 12 Primrose in Chico on 01‐03‐1996 at approximately 1745 hours.

Details: Vicki was reported missing with suspicious circumstances by Liz Kaye on 01‐04‐1996. Vicki was visiting her parents in Chico between December 1995 and the date of her appearance on 01‐03‐96. Before this visit Vicki resided with her husband Fred in Missouri. Vicki was staying in a small camp trailer located on her parent’s property at 1098 Taffee Avenue in Chico. Vicki’s parents went out of town for a couple of days during the time Vicki was in town for a court date. When her parents returned to their residence they located two pools of blood on the ground outside of the trailer Vicki was staying in. One of the trailer windows was also broken out. Vicki hasn’t been seen or heard from since and her remains haven’t been found.

Update: On 05‐17‐2013 the Butte County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the California Department of Justice that Vicki’s remains were identified through a DNA match from a Jane Doe in Yolo County. Vicki’s remains were found in the Sacramento River near Crawdad’s restaurant in May of 1996. Foul play is suspected in this case.

Details: On 01‐31‐1998 the Butte County Sheriff’s Office received information that a person named “Rowdy” was beaten up, killed and thrown in the Sacramento River near the wash out on River Road outside of Chico. This person was later identified as Rowdy McMillian. Rowdy had been reported missing by his mother Karen McMillian to the Corning Department on 01‐12‐1998. At that time Karen McMillian hadn’t seen or heard from Rowdy in several days. Rowdy’s last known location is unknown. Rowdy hasn’t been heard from or seen again and it’s believed that foul play is involved and he is the victim of a homicide.

Clothing Description: The clothing is described as a white 1984 L.A. Olympic Games t‐shirt, Fleece sweater, and blue tennis shoes.

Location Last Seen: Body was recovered in an irrigation ditch in Richvale near the intersection of Richvale Highway and McRae Rd.

Details: On 03‐12‐1998 The Butte County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of Richvale Highway and McRae Rd in Richvale where workers located human remains in an irrigation ditch. Human remains were recovered and later determined that the remains belonged to a Hispanic or Asian male adult, 28‐42 years of age, and approximately 5’6” tall. Clothing was also located on and near the remains. The remains had been in this location for a time period between 1‐2 years. There was evidence of blunt force trauma to the right side of the decedent’s skull. Foul play is believed to have been involved.

It is believed that Wallace was involved with narcotics and a possible drug ring. Wallace has not been seen or heard from by his family since approximately 1990. Foul play is suspected.

Details: Mirilla was reported missing by her father Valentin Marin on 06‐22‐2003. Valentin said his daughter ran away from their residence on 06‐06‐2003 and they hadn’t heard from her or seen her since. Valentin believed that Mirilla might have been in the company of a subject named Samson Frazier at the time. Mirilla still hasn’t returned home and hasn’t contacted her parent’s since she left home. Update: The Butte County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a citizen on 08‐06‐2013 and provided information that Mirella Sanchez‐Cruz wasn’t missing and she was currently living in Mexico with her family using her married name Cruz. Details: Salvador was reported missing by his brother Isauro on 08‐15‐2003. Salvador resided at 16968 Musty Buck Rd in Cohasset with Ramon Beccera and Ma Hilda Sanchez. The residence appeared to be quickly abandoned. Ramon and Ma Hilda have not been located for questioning in this case. Ma Hilda stated to an uninvolved party that something serious happened and they needed to disappear. Salvador has not been seen or heard from since and his remains haven’t ever been found. Location Last Seen: Ronald was last seen on 09‐20‐2006 at Gold Country Casino and Feather Falls Casino in Oroville with his uncle Larry Bonner.

Details: Ronald was reported missing by his step‐mother Amber Bennett‐Bonner on 10‐11‐ 2006. Ronald and Larry Bonner were seen together on the night of his appearance hanging out at the casinos in Oroville. Ronald’s last known location was at Feather Falls Casino with Larry Bonner. Ronald hasn’t been seen or heard from by his family since the night of his disappearance. Ronald’s disappearance is suspicious and foul play is suspected.

Update: Human remains were located near a creek in a wooded area behind Feather Falls Casino on 11‐12‐2012. On 11‐14‐2012 the human remains were positively identified through dental records as Ronald Bonner. A suspect is still being sought in this case.

Jason hasn’t been seen or heard from by his friends and family since the date of his disappearance and his remains haven’t ever been found. Foul play is suspected.

Location Last Seen: Gary was last seen on 06‐05‐2007 at approximately 1430 hours, walking on the Skyway towards Butte Meadows near the intersection of Humbug Rd by a family that resides in Butte Meadows.

Details: Gary was shivering from being cold and making odd statements. The family offered him a ride and Gary declined. The family gave Gary a dry, warm jacket and continued on. Gary’s vehicle was located on 06‐06‐2007 on Humbug Rd abandoned with both of his dogs inside. Gary suffered from depression and took numerous prescription medications. Gary hasn’t been seen or heard from since and his remains haven’t ever been found. Foul play is not suspected in this case.

Details: Neal King was involved in an illegal marijuana trafficking business and was in the process of collecting a marijuana debt owed to him by Donald Cheatham. Neal arrived at Donald’s residence in Oroville on 03‐26‐2013 between 1100‐1130 hours. Neal and Donald left the property together enroute to an unknown location (Possibly the Berry Creek area). Neal hasn’t been heard from or seen since and his remains haven’t been located. Foul play is suspected.

Details: John suffered from dementia and walked away from his residence on 02‐22‐2014. John was last seen in the driveway walking away from his residence by another family member. There were reports that neighbors in the area and citizens driving by saw John walking down the road this same afternoon. An extensive search effort was conducted and unsuccessful. John hasn’t been heard from or seen since and his remains haven’t been located.
