To ensure the character of their wines, old vineyards with a low production level are cultivated at the same time as new plantations. To give the wines their “defining character”, a significant percentage of production focuses on some of the least common varieties of grape in the Rioja-Alavesa winegrowing region: Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano and Viura. The wineries production is around 480,000 bottles (50% exports to the main wine markets).
