The team played a preparation match against Cent College. ENKA SPORTS 56 CENT COLLEGE 62 LITTLE BASKETBALL U12 Basketball Team played against Hisar Schools at the Development League. Our team was defeated. Little Basketball Team played a preparation match against Cent College. The team performed well and the result was landslide victory. ENKA MS 22 HİSAR SCHOOLS 39 ENKA MS 60 CENT COLLEGE 18 ENKA SCHOOLS PE DEPARTMENT NEWSLETTER Newsletter No: 8 ( 27 February – 13 March 2017 ) Page 2 FENCING On Thursday, February 16, Ali Demirbilek represented the school at the Fencing İstanbul Championship. He came 4th in İstanbul at the Young Boys Sword Category. The student will participate in Turkey championship in Kocaeli. FUTSAL ENKA Schools Young Girls’ Futsal team came third in Sarıyer District Futsal Tournament for Schools. The team received their cup from Gürsoy Osman Bilgin – Sarıyer District Governor – at the ceremony on March 8, Wednesday. ENKA SCHOOLS PE DEPARTMENT NEWSLETTER Newsletter No: 8 ( 27 February – 13 March 2017 ) Page 3 Young Boys’ Team was defeated 3-2 by Friuzan Kemal Demir Onaran High School at the Sarıyer District Futsal Tournament. TENNIS Our school advanced to the semifinals at İstanbul Star and Little Tennis City Championship at Taç Sports Facility between March 6 and 14. The team won all the matches. We wish every success to our students for the semifinals and finals between March 13 and 14. We organized a parent activity to help volleyball player students’ parents meet and communicate. We organized the first activity on March 8, International Women’s Day. We would like to thank all parents for their participation. We will organize the activity every Wednesday between 5.00 and 6.30 pm. School-District SWIMMING High School Girls’ Swimming Team came 3rd in Turkey at the Youth Swimming Championship in Bursa on March 4 and 5. HS Boys’ Team came 5th in Turkey. You may see individual and relay results below A competition meeting, they wore blue-white uniform when they were 7 like their older brothers and sisters. They practiced round the clock. They represented their school and club in the best way possible. Now, Zeynep and Ali are leaving from their home. It is their last competition.. But they have a very strong friendship. They are setting an example to younger students. Thank you for your character, athlete attitude, your wisdom and all the achievements you had. We wish you every success at your future studies.
