ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC COMMUNITY 16 Smithville Crescent, St. John’s, NL A1B 2V2 Tel.# 754-0170 Finding God in All Things 3rd SUNDAY OF LENT March 7, 2021 THIRD SUNDAY OF LENT SUGGESTIONS FOR REFLECTIONS ! Jesus breaks the boundaries of religion and culture and even goes so far as to ask a favour of the Samaritan woman. How can I break the boundaries of religious and cultural biases so as to accept and learn from others different from me? ! What are my deeper hungers and thirsts which only the Lord can satisfy? ! Do I believe that Jesus accepts me as I am with my past failures and sins? ! What is attractive about the way Jesus relates to the Samaritan woman? SOURCE: www.marquette.edu Fr. The life of our faith community is as much ‘in-church, at home, and throughout St. John’s’ - as it is ‘online’. Have we noticed that for a variety of reasons our parish life is radically different from what and how it was lived a year ago? Do we accept that the manner we profess our Christian faith has radically changed and needs further change? A good example is the challenge away from our physical-church-centric mentality.
