    CAPITOLO II - ORGANIZZAZIONI SINDACALI E RELAZIONI INDUSTRIALI Introduzione Le fonti d’archivio per la storia delle organizzazioni sindacali e del movimento operaio a Torino sono pressoché nulle fino al secondo dopoguerra. In seguito all’incendio della Camera del Lavoro di Torino ad opera di squadre fasciste nel 1992, infatti, è andato distrutta ogni traccia di materiale documentario prodotto dalle organizzazioni stesse in età liberale. Fondi archivistici dell’Unione provinciale fascista dei lavoratori dell’industria e delle altre confederazioni di categoria sono attualmente conservati presso l’Archivo della Fondazione Istituto Piemontese Antonio Gramsci, in quanto tale fondazione è depositaria dell’Archivio storico della Camera del lavoro di Torino (organizzazione territoriale della CGIL): le carte del sindacato fascista, passato sotto la gestione commissariale dopo il 25 luglio 1943, furono ereditate dalla CGIL unitaria dopo la Liberazione. Le vicende successive al 1945 sono invece ben documentabili attraverso le carte prodotte dalla CGIL unitaria prima e, al partire dal 1948-50, dalle altre organizzazioni locali aderenti alle confederazioni CISL e UIL, i cui archivi sono depositati rispettivamente presso la Fondazione Vera Nocentini e l’Istituto Salvemini. La storia del movimento sindacale si intreccia strettamente con la storia del lavoro e dei mondi del lavoro. In italiano non esiste un equivalente linguistico dell’inglese labour history: noi parliamo di "storia del movimento operaio", "storia del movimento sindacale", "storia della classe operaia", "storia del lavoro" e, ultima ma non meno importante, di "storia delle relazioni industriali"; ma il fatto che l’espressione anglosassone sia comprensiva di buona parte delle nostre articolazioni indica quanto queste ultime siano intrecciate e siano labili i confini che le separano.

Per il Piemonte è un momento storico. Entro il mese di aprile la Giunta regionale licenzierà una serie di documenti di programmazione strategica che definiranno le linee di indirizzo per lo sviluppo del Piemonte dei prossimi 10 anni. Decisioni che spesso vengono prese all’interno dei palazzi, ma che noi vogliamo costruire insieme al territorio, raccogliendo il contributo di tutti, inclusi i nostri giovani, che sono i veri proprietari del futuro. L’esperienza a Bruxelles mi ha insegnato che occorre contribuire a indirizzare le risorse economiche, affinché possano rispondere alle reali esigenze del nostro tessuto economico e sociale. E oggi abbiamo a disposizione cifre che, probabilmente, non vedremo mai più. Saremo competitivi se sapremo individuare e condividere progetti con immediate ricadute sui territori e se sapremo “fare squadra” a livello nazionale. Questo documento è il nostro contributo all’implementazione del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza. E siamo orgogliosi di dire che è il contributo del Piemonte, non della Regione Piemonte. It analyses a drawing by Francisco Rizi (Madrid, 1614-Escorial, 1685) in the British Museum depicting a sculptural group and fragments of an architectural framework, and relates it to two other drawings by the same artist in the National Library of Spain. They are identified as fragments of the design drawing of the former altarpiece of the Expectant Virgin in the church of the Calced Trinitarians in Madrid. * * * * * [1] As shown recently by the London exhibition The Sacred Made Real. Spanish Painting and Sculpture 1600-1700, the Spanish tradition of painted wooden sculptures gave rise to remarkable partnerships between sculptors and painters for the creation of a single work of art1. But painters did not just collaborate with sculptors to carry out the polychromy of their works; they also provided them with designs2. The latter kind of partnership between painters and sculptors was particularly widespread in the context of the construction of altarpieces, usually a great enterprise that required collective work3. Spanish baroque altarpieces varied widely in form and size, but were always the product of a partnership between sculptors and painters, along with gilders, joiners, architects and draughtsmen.
