It included sterilization of coriander explants (Coriandrum sativum L.) and cultured on MS medium containing BA 1 mg /l and NAA 0.5 mg / l. Effect different levels of the salt NaCl (0, 2, 4g/l) were tested on culture medium (MS) to investigate their influence on callus growth and characteristics . NaCl salt treatment at 2g\l significant increase callus fresh and dry weight and protein content .While proline content, total soluble carbohydrate ,catalase enzyme (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) the significantlyincrease when the salt concentration increase. Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is one of the Classification of coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) chief medicinal plant, it has place to the Umbelliferae The taxonomical position was as the following: family (Apiaceae) (BenFredj, 2013).
