Greetings from the LA FRA Northwest Regional President

hank you for the opportunity to be the Northwest regional president for 2019- 2020. I am thankful for each and every unitT in our region for the wonderful things they do to support our veterans and their families. This year has been extremely difficult due to the COVID-19 restrictions that we have had to deal with. All the RPNW units are, however, doing the best they can under the Terrie Johnson circumstances. One of the highlights for the Northwest Region is the opportunity to participate in the Pearl Harbor services held in Hawaii on Dec. 7th. In Bill Hall and Donna Jansky participate in the Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremonies in Hawaii. 2019, FRA National President Donna Jansky and LA FRA President Bea Parco attended the 78th Anniversary National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Commemoration Ceremony. They also attended the Blackened Canteen Ceremony that was held the day before. Branch and Unit 46 purchased a beautiful wreath that was placed in the USS Arizona Memorial and hosted a brunch for all the FRA and LA FRA stateside visitors. Jansky, Parco and FRA Northwest Regional President William Hall placed flowers at the USS Arizona Memorial during the service. LA FRA Past National President Gail Doloway and Unit 46 President Also in attendance at the commemoration were Aimee Haraguchi.
